When you’re going off about how many disabled “babies” (fetuses) you are “saving” by forcing their carrier to birth them against their will, just remember who can hear you— disabled people who actually want kids but can’t have them because your fun little “abortion ban” forced them to get sterilized in order to not die from an accidental pregnancy.

Sometimes there's this tendency in abortion activism to treat abortion as a necessary evil, something people do because they have to and not because they want to. People end up putting a lot of emphasis on those who get abortions in order to be able to have children later and on people who wanted the baby but had no choice but to abort in order to continue living. And I understand why people do this, especially when arguing with anti-choice people.
But I do think it's important to remember that a lot of people get abortions because they simply don't want kids and that's also okay. There are people who could walk into an abortion clinic and get an abortion and feel no guilt or remorse because they don't want kids and value their own life more than that of the unborn fetus and those people also deserve to have their rights protected.
