Something that I think is kind of cute is how excited the Turtles were when they found out that they were related to Lou Jitsu or when they found themselves on a Lou Jitsu set when they entered Splinter's memories, we kind of know that Lou Jitsu was a popular actor considering all the merchandise that Splinter has & in a scrapped scene there is a billboard for a 'Son of Lou Jitsu' movie meaning that the franchise is still a thing, but I think it is kind of cute that Splinter's sons seem to be his biggest fans.
#they are such. they're the absolute manic kind of fans. the ones who sneak into the studios to look for fandom lore clues#and completely freak out if something looks even relatively related to lou jitsu lore#bet it took them forever to calm down about the fact that were actually related#like randomly ranting weeks later about how epic it was that they shared THE Lou Jitsu's DNA#They definitely went home to rewatch the movies and point out the slightest things their DAD did and eagerly replicate/rant about it.#Meanwhile Splinter in the corner heartfully observing their hyperfixtation on his old self for the 100th time
