Hello! I love your moodboards and was wondering if you have any tips for someone who wanted to try making their own? Also, could I request a light academia, mixed with an ethereal floral/nature aesthetic?
♡ Thank you! ♡

My tips?

  1. Try to get high-quality images that aren't already edited. Original resolutions are your best friend!
  2. Plan your layout first, and don't worry if things don't match initially. Having two simultaneous themes (i.e. flowers and books) alternating keeps balance.
  3. Get rid of your blacks! They aren't dreamy or aesthetic. Pick a colour that's very dark and saturated but not black, set a new layer to the Lighten layer mode and fill the whole layer with it. It'll make all your black a little lighter and make everything a little more cohesive.
  4. Try to make sure other colours groups are similar in hue. If you have a lot of leaves or foliage ensure they are all similarly green-yellow, or whatever other green you may like.

I really enjoyed the light academia board! Thanks for requesting it~
