I was thinking of reblogging this again just because the original video is still amazing, but then I see the second video and lost my mind. The upgraded fan, the body glitter, the sheer fact that he got to do this with the actual singer.
His name is Mark Kanemura, and he is a professional dancer. He appeared on two seasons of So You Think You Can Dance (and was a finalist), was in several music videos including a Janet Jackson song and a Lil Mama song. He also is a concert performer, and worked with Lady Gaga on The Monster Ball Tour, and was in several of her music videos. He’s a talented choreographer and professional dancer. He’s not some internet rando who was honored to be in a Carly Rae Jepson concert.
The quarantine dances that he streamed helped a lot of people stay moving and have something to look forward to. He’s the best. I love him. Don’t forget to give him proper respect and say his name.
