You gotta know that putting "don't follow me if you're not 18+" without an age in your bio makes it hard to not just block when you follow a NSFW blog, right? As my pinned says, I'm a NSFW blog. Your page is dope, but if you wanna not get blocked by a majority of pages, add an age
Listen, I don't like putting out top much info for every stranger to read. I thought that me clearly saying minors shouldn't follow me made it clear, but I'm an adult. Sorry if my ID and birth certificate is needed but I'm not gonna put my exact age out there
This kind of mentality honestly amazes me. Because asking someone their exact age is as safe as asking them if they're an adult, but more intrusive. Like, unless you can ID them a kid that lied about being an adult WILL very easily say they're 20 it's not that hard. I feel weird mentioning even my nationality and native language and it's not a big deal and don't even say when my birthday is in public spaces because I care about being anonymous online, outside of the basic information needed
Because the only possible scenario where "adult" is enough info but "exact age" isn't for a 18+ would be if my country had a majority age that was below 18, and it's soooo widely accepted as the majority online that I doubt someone from a country like this would forget that their country differs from the accepted norm online. And if one's country's age of majority is above 18, then they'll either add "minor" on their bio and be honest, or say they're adult/add their age without mentioning if they're an adult by their country's law to avoid admitting they're not an adult. When did the basic amount of information to keep everyone safe became not enough
