a harry/ginny headcanon of mine is that harry has gone to watch ginny in a match and as they’re leaving a reporter shoves a notepad in their faces and asks ginny “what’s it like being married to someone so famous when you are so unknown?”

and harry just jumps in and starts gushing about how wonderful it is to be married to the star chaser of the holyhead harpies and that he couldnt be prouder to call her his wife and he wont stop talking about how amazing she is until the reporter leaves

If you think Ron didn’t recite or reference Ginny’s first valentine to Harry in his best man speech at their wedding you’re wrong.

I think I would have liked the Harry/Ginny relationship if JK didn’t rush it. To me it just seemed rushed in Book 6. I think their relationship should have been built up and started in GOF when Harry would take Ginny to the Yule Ball. Harry realizes all he had was a crush on Cho(but I think Harry would just be there to comfort Cho in a friendly way because they are both grieving for Cedric) and develops feelings for Ginny, their chemistry is really shown in OOTP. they admit their feelings for each other at the end of the book and their relationship starts and continues in HBP. It’s cute as fuck in HBP. They sass together, kickass in Quiditch and Harry trusts and loves her enough that she will be his eyes and ears in Hogwarts with Luna and Neville while he, Ron and Hermione are on the Horcrux hunt. When Harry goes back to Hogwarts they reunite, kiss, Ginny kicks ass in the Battle Of Hogwarts and after it’s all over they of course resume their relationship and eventually get married and have children.
