Do you consider fanfiction legitimate writing?
I won the 2004 Hugo Award for Best short story for an H. P. Lovecraft /Arthur Conan Doyle mashup fiction, so fanfiction had better be legitimate, because I'm not giving the Hugo back.
Or the 20O5 Locus Award for Best Novelette. I'm not giving that back either.
This was inspired by @diva-gonzo. It’s not a direct reference but the comforting idea.

Harry, Ron and Hermione post-war hanging out, just bein friends. I’m imagining when Harry bought a PS2 Ron probably laughed at the silly muggle contraption but then quickly got really into it. For my lovely friend, @mersheeple
The deluminator. It doesn’t just turn off lights. I don’t know how it worked but Christmas morning, I was sleeping in this little pub, keeping away from some Snatchers, and I heard it. A voice. Your voice, Hermione. You said my name. Just my name. Like a whisper. So I took it, clicked it and this tiny ball of light appeared. And I knew. It flew towards me, the ball of light, right through my chest and straight through me. Right here. [touches his heart] And I knew it was going to take me where I needed to go.

I love Ron with a beard and that’s like 90% of what inspired this drawing.
