Hey phandom you all know how Tucker is the reincarnation of an ancient pharaoh. And that we headcannon tuckers fear of hospitals due to pharaoh duulaman being alive during the mumiffication process alive. Well a big part of the mummification process is the removal of bodily organs. So can someone tell me how we have for some reason not seen a vivisection fic based on this fact.

Say the quiet part out loud: they believe that black people could never earn their way into college legitimately, therefore all black students are affirmative action. That’s the foundation of their actual argument, not demographics. They don’t care about statistics and ratios, they care that schools aren’t segregated.

^ This part.

Not saying that having the information doesn't help, sure it won't change shitheels' minds, but it's good to have for the people they haven't pulled over, and to help the people being harmed to know that YES the numbers DO say what you see, it's NOT subjective.

This is the conservative/christian sign for abortion. This is the sign used by those who are pro-life. This is a sign that is sexist, that demonizes abortion, that is anti women’s autonomy and female rights. It declares fetuses as full babies someone is throwing away. This sign can be genuinely triggering to deaf women who have had abortions.

If you want to go full-neutral, you can finger sign abortion.

Or, the scientific version (pregnancy-remove) that is considered the leftist way –

Do not spread the pro-life version. Conservatives specifically try to push their ways to sign things as the default. You are unintentionally helping overpower deaf women’s rights advocates.

the "came back wrong" trope except like... they didnt. like this mad scientists wife died, and so he studied necromancy, brought her back, and she came back and it all worked. like she came back exactly the same as she was before with literally no difference. but the scientist guy is like "oh no... what have i done.... shes Different now!!!! she came back Wrong!!!!" and shes just like. chilling. reading a book. cooking dinner. shes just so so normal but in the guys mind hes like "oh shes soooo weird" but shes just normal

While she was dead he put his memory of her on such a high pedestal that she could never live up to it alive

alternatively‚ she came back perfectly fine but he thinks she came back wrong‚ because the tragic reality is that he never actually knew his wife

im going INSANE thats MY POST.

It's your post but the journey to posting it changed it to such a degree that even its closest intimacies are now foreign to you. Sorry dude.

so SAG-AFTRA finally released some official guidance for fans, viewers, creators/influencers, critics, and more during the strike. here's what you need to know:

  1. if you see a publication/news source/journalist talking about a piece of struck work, that's ok. they're allowed to do that.

2. they're asking regular viewers and fans to DONATE TO STRIKE FUNDS, SHOW UP TO PICKETS IF YOU CAN, and please do NOT boycott streaming services or movies in theaters.

3. influencers, content creators, cosplayers, and anything in between is still a bit of a grey area, but they're asking people to use their best judgement. "organically" means UNPAID promo (like an invite to a premiere without being paid, being sent a publicity box, letting the company's social media post a photo of you in cosplay, etc).

obviously this doesn't answer every question, and isn't hard and fast rules for fanworks, but it can at least inform how you personally choose to move forward when posting online and moving publically. i hope this helps!

alrighty i voted for Kagami so hear me out

Madara, Izuna, Obito, and Itachi are out, I love them dearly but they have a running streak of insanity, self and world loathing (Obito and Itachi straight up despise shinobi in general, for heavens sake), and are far too extreme in everything they do. They would make spectacular generals or advisors, right hand men, but not stable leaders.

Sasuke, bless his heart, is loyal to specific people, not places or ideals. He would raze Konoha himself if Naruto were to go insane and ask it of him. Sasuke would also make a much better right hand man than a lone leader.

Idk if this was shown in the anime, but in the prequel novels, Shisui shows no interest in leadership roles and wholeheartedly supported Itachi's dream of becoming hokage. He also has quite the extreme streak (from kotoamatsukami to offing himself infront of itachi) so im a bit unsure, but hes more on than off the table compared to the others.

Fugaku might seem an obvious choice, after all, he isn't batshit insane and has a seemingly stable leadership role as a clan head. In which he regularly proved he was an absolute doormat in. He bowed to the council, to the uchiha elders, to the young uchiha rebels, hell he was jealous of his own son's strength at some point. Homie is insecure and unable to hold reigns.

Finally we have Kagami. We unfortunately know little of him except for Shisui's claims that his grandfather was far stronger than he and that he was one of Tobirama's students. This might mean Kagami might have turned into another Hiruzen (ignoring red flags and actively tanking your own village) or Danzo and the other two (bitter and grudgy caring more for power than the people of the village), but the mysterious circumnstances around Kagami's death as well as that of the First and Second Hokage makes me wonder if Kagami was taken out of the picture somehow. If thats so then he likely had diverging views from the rest of Tobirama's students and might have left a better impact than Hiruzen's long reign of concerning complacency to corruption.

feel free to share your thoughts!

one of my personal favorite dichotomies in atla is how iroh, once the top strategist and highest-ranking general of the fire nation, now directs all his energy and considerable tactical experience towards attempting to keep his teenage nephew from throwing himself into life-threatening situations AND IROH REGULARLY FAILS TO PREVENT HIM FROM DOING SO.

he lead a six-hundred day siege and now iroh can't keep up with a sixteen-year-old armed with two swords and a passionate deathwish. zuko's motto is "act first, think never" and he's running rings around his uncle. it's like!!! who's gonna come out on top, iroh's west point education vs. zuko's deep and abiding commitment to always choosing the stupidest possible course of action, and zuko manages to win every single time

y'all are straight up EVISCERATING that boy in the tags

Not to downplay just how committed to self destructive stupidity Zuko is, but Iroh still managed to keep him alive and in one piece. He lost literally every battle but he won that war.

Not to step on the knife, but also figuratively losing every fight as long as it means the child who is like a son to him is alive is the exact opposite of literally winning every battle and losing his son which is what he did when he was young so that's probably why he keeps so chill 90% of the time around the Zukoness of it all.

Stepping on the knife? Reading that was stepping on a RAKE made of FEELINGS and being SIDESHOW BOBBED by my own EMOTIONS

that's how i roll in clown town baybeee
