Ok, so don’t even get me started on how this is likely to be the last present-day /physical/ interaction these two newlyweds are going to have for a while, bc this is hard enough :/ But just look at how much is being said with just their hands— Alex running her hand (interlocked with Piper’s) through her new wife’s hair…their fingers intertwining…Piper hanging on until the lost possible moment before she reluctantly, agonizingly, lets go (and that, with an ever-so-soft “Fuck”). This silent expression of their love for each other is nothing new. So much of what they’ve communicated to each other throughout six seasons has been through these little touches and other non-verbal means—meaningful glances, pained looks…expressions of the deepest love and desire…soft kisses… I could go on and on, but I don’t really need to… because if you’re reading this, you know what I mean…and you appreciate everything Laura and Taylor brought to their portrayals of these two characters and their extraordinary love.
