I think a lot of people are confused by why anyone would want a snack free theater and, aside from making it more accessible for people with severe food allergies, it would make it more accessible for people with auditory processing disorders like me.
Misophonia is a disorder that makes it so that certain sounds (like chewing, snapping, or clicking noises, for example) cause an intense physical reaction in a person. If I hear chewing, I want to actually harm the person making the noise, or I want to harm myself in order to make the sound stop. Those sounds cause me physical pain, and I feel like people don't know this exists.
So yeah. A snackless theater would really help me.

Day Two: Something That Makes You Happy

I pointed this out in a Discord server I'm in and thought Id share here:
Bob Iger announced that Disney is going to absorb Hulu, and Hulu will no longer exist next year. All shows will move to the Disney+ app.
Disney also announced they were going to remove shows and movies periodically from their streaming services.
I believe both of these moves are because of the Writers Strike.
Disney knows its going to lose the strike. There is too much public support. Specifically, the WGA is going to win writers getting more residuals from streaming.
So if Disney takes shows off of streaming, they dont have to pay the writers the residuals.
They are going to use excuses like "not enough funding for the server capacity" or "not enough views to warrent keeping the show". These are BULLSHIT. Its all greed. Its only GREED.
Pay attention to what happens in the following weeks.
And keep supporting the writers' strike.

Next up is Tim Drake!!! He’s still our resident rich boy stalker obsessed with Batman and Robin but I’m gonna tweak things here so the meeting and subsequent Robin-ing still makes sense. So at first Tim kinda gets himself into trouble during his nightly excursions following Batman and ends up being a hostage/damsel in distress by whatever villain Batman is going after, to the point that Batman stops trying to discourage him from going out and instead offers to train him in self defense to get out of these kinds of situations. Bringing Tim back to the Bat Cave, it’s revealed that Tim knows that Batman is Bruce Wayne (like come on Batman gets a sidekick with a sword at the same time that Bruce gets a kid that constantly threatens to stab reporters and no one notices the similarities?? They even use the same title to refer to The Bat!!!) and through the power of light blackmail and sheer stubborn will Tim gets to become the second Robin. Now Bruce wants to keep Tim safe and ends up benching Tim from more and more missions until he’s only allowed out on patrol. Since Tim isn’t a mind reader he thinks Bruce is benching him over a lack of skill rather than concern. So to remedy this and prove he’s worthy of being Robin he decides to find Joker’s current whereabouts and take down both him and his operation and send him back to Arkham. He succeeds in finding the Joker but due to a miscalculation/mishap and gets caught by the Joker. He suffers through the Jason treatment and everything with the explosion still happens and Bruce only manages to get there after looking into Tim’s other leads causing him to arrive just as the warehouse blows up. So now Bruce has to deal with the consequences of pushing his first son to the point of radio silence and now losing his almost son (he views Tim as his son hence the concern and helicopter parenting but never made it legally official) to the Joker and is starting to spiral out of control.
Where is Damian through all this you may ask?? I’ve decided that he has decided to go underground and explore the world as personal training and saving people along the way :))
Ok I’m going to infodump on a Batfam RoleSwap!AU based on various analyses and secondhand info I’ve gotten from the fandom :D
A few bits of info before we begin:
— I’m not fundamentally changing any origin stories, only tweaking bits here and there to better fit the timeline (ex. so Damian is still raised by the LoA, Haly Circus incident still occurs, so on so forth)
— this is like a rlly rough outline based on like 20 minutes of deep thought so if anything seems incorrect or wonky feel free to explain and add in your own ideas :))
— I am ABSOLUTELY IGNORING AND AGAINST ANY ABUSIVE BRUCE HEADCANONS ADDED ON TO THIS POST‼️‼️ I’m ok with exploring the deep flaws of Bruce’s character and parenting in canon but for this AU I’m focusing solely on Bruce’s emotional issues and how they impact the way he raises them
— I’m not including any of the girls as I’m not fully familiar with Stephanie’s origin story, don’t know how to integrate Cass into the batfam with how i’ve currently formatted this au, and Babs currently does not have a significant role with the age she would currently be (EDIT: I just thought of an idea for our resident redhead that I’ll add later. Feel free to drop ideas for the other girls)
With that out of the way!!!
Let’s start with Damian! He’s the oldest in this AU and was conceived on a mission during Bruce’s training days (im going with the idea that Bruce started to train to be Batman early on and went through accelerated courses to help with his detective work) specifically on a mission where he and Talia went undercover as a couple. He still gets Damian when he turns 10 but with no blueprint on how to raise a kid, let alone one with stabby tendencies, Bruce decides to coddle him via rehabilitation. Basically teaching him how he needs to act in high society while also making sure Damian doesn’t commit murder as Robin. Of course as Damian grows up, he gets more irritated over Bruce’s lack of faith in his decision making. Especially since he’s tried for the past 8 years to abide by his father’s rules in both heroism and society. It all comes to a head when planning for a mission and Batman has constantly vetoed his suggestions to the point where he stops the planning all together and goes, “Do you even trust me, Father?” And of course Batman defends himself with why Damian’s suggestions wouldn’t work and ends it with a “It’s a simple mission, so extreme force isn’t necessary” which inadvertently confirms Damian’s suspicions. This whole time he believed he was getting closer to his father and cementing his role as the blood son, only for Bruce to still see him as a knife happy child assassin who needs to be monitored at every turn. “Fine.” He replies and they do the mission Bruce’s way. Once it was over, they return and a bit later Damian leaves without a trace. Bruce doesn’t realize until the morning after and has to get used to being alone again.
