Waylon lost his tail, but seems otherwise more startled than anything.

King Shark is still growing half his teeth and appears to be building a bouquet of ???? And muttering to himself.

Harley broke a nail and is devastated about that. And not getting the footage.

They aren’t sure if the joker is gonna wake up, but the kid seems much more docile with joker out of the way.

Danny after coming to his senses: Oops 😅. I hate clowns!

Danny's gonna make sure he stays there till he is close to 18. And then start to properly 'recover'. He does NOT want to go to Vlad. Of course he managed to get him investigated. By talking about the Times he was kidnapped and such. The bear trap incident would raise a few warning flags.

Batman? Can't even being himself to be too stressed. Poor kid is sick. And has an irrational hatred of clowns. The kid clearly needs the help. He's gonna keep an eye on him. And probably clocks on at some point... That the kid appears to be sane.... Ok. He needs to chat with the kid. Why play insane to escape someone? They have to be a real problem if the kid is going that far to avoid him. Maybe he can get rid of the issue and the kid will stop pretending?

Meanwhile? Danny has apologised to the rogues he hurt on his mad rampage to get that fucking clown. Harley likes him. Little brat is adorable when he wants to be. Waylon? Is impressed. Like, kid can pack a punch. Wanna wrestle kid? It helps that Danny treats him like a person.

King Shark? Is still mildly terrified. But ya know. Can't hold it against the kid! Joker? Even if he wakes up? He's never healing right. Danny fucked him up good. Probably never gonna move right again. No one knows if the kid managed to Fuck up his nerves on purpose or not. It's impressive.

Everyone in the batfam is celebrating. Even Bruce who will however deny it even under the threat of the heat death of the universe.

Bruce had been looking over the Fenton case again. There was something odd about the boy. There was something he was missing. He knew relapses in cases of psychiatric breaks were to be expected. But... Fenton only seemed to relapse when release was discussed. His files stated he was generally calm and personable. But when his guardian or release were mentioned he would have an episode. And if he caught sight of the Joker? Or one of his goons. All bets were off.

Bruce: Tim. Can you see what I think I'm seeing?

Tim scanned the files. And came to a conclusion quickly.

Tim: He's faking. Probably to avoid his guardian. Have we looked into Masters? We really should.

They both sighed and got ready for a long night. Yes the boy was clearly traumatised. But he was definitely not that traumatised. This was going to be interesting.

Tim: We should interview him. Privately. Ask why he hates Masters. There's always a reason.

Bruce sighed heavily. The idea of a teen choosing to reside in Arkham over their legal guardian? There was something going on.

Bruce: I'm glad you saw the pattern too. I was hoping I was wrong... But.

Tim: I know. It's an interesting choice. Given how he fucked up everyone in his path to Joker though? I'd say he has good reason to find it easy there. Makes me worry about Masters more though. Fenton did a lot of damage.

Bruce: So we have to interview Fenton first. Before risking going near Masters.

During the interview Danny didn't hold back. In. The. Slightest.

He was brutally honest about everything, maybe even exaggerating some parts due to trauma and all that.

But he also made sure to make it clear to the bats to keep away from Masters. He is not only a nut job on the level of Two Face but also fucking powerful.

One should never face him without ample preparation.

On another note, Harley and the employed psychologists have a field day with our traumatized baby and are doing their best to help without meds. Mostly because his body doesn't respond the expected way to the meds. The meds only make things worse.

Scarecrow was intrigued. If this patients response to coulrophobia was to tear Joker apart with his teeth, imagine what would happen if he exposed the boy to fear toxin.

Scarecrow was expecting many things mostly for Fenton to go on a rampage. He even hoped Fenton ran into Batman and tore that interloper a new one.

Scarecrow was not expecting to see Fenton looking the most relaxed he had ever seen a person, babbling about stars and making constellations on the ceiling of his cell.

It didn’t take long to clear the fear toxin out of Arkham, why Scarecrow decided to gas Arkham, Batman didn’t know. Batman also didn’t know why Crane was sulking like someone had just kicked his puppy or who gave Fenton high quality marijuana if the boys behavior was anything to go by.

Bruce really needed to get this kid out of Arkham.

Danny could admit that Hello Kitty pajama pants and a star print shirt wasn't the best choice when it came to meeting another hero, but he was tired and didn't intend to meet another hero at two in the morning either.

After catching Skullker who had decided to leave town in the middle of the night, Danny heard someone calling him, and due to his panic he transformed into his human form. Better to catch a random than an illegal ghost, right?

The halfa could admit that he was a little sleepy when he thought about it. It was obvious that Red Hood didn't know what to make of the boy in pajamas in the middle of Crime Alley, he had expected to see the creature from the pits not someone basically helpless and half asleep holding a thermos of soup.

With a sigh Jason decided it was unwise to leave him there and carried the boy to his safe house, better that option than the random getting mugged. Danny did the wise thing in that strange situation: he fell asleep again in the vigilante's grip, if he had wanted to kill him he would have done it by now wouldn't he?

Thankfully, he defeated him and locked up Dan between timelines, where he will spend all of entirely inside a thermos.

That was until Clockwork lost all sanity.

Danny drives Dan insane from sheer recklessness. Danny goes out at all times of the day and night only leaving Dan with a note saying he was going somewhere, leaving his older bro to worry. Danny being Danny gets into all kinds of shenanigans and makes a surprising amount of friends, civilian, thug and rogue which does not help the fact that Batman is so suspicious of him and his brother.

Dan eventually becomes overprotective of Danny as a means of not losing his sanity. Danny comes home one day wearing designer clothes and walking perfectly in 6 inch heels. Dan chooses not to comment.

It is said that all people have a partner, one that is predetermined; some are platonic soulmates, others romantic soulmates, but the main thing was that they were meant to be by your side, understand you, and not always support your decisions.

They were more like a kind of impulse control, someone to help you see beyond your choices and thoughts. While they were "meant" to understand you, that doesn't mean they supported all your decisions without complaint. Some would say they were there to help you be a better person.

But there was a catch: no one would know who their companion is until they die. Maybe it was a cruel twist of fate, that you would be forced to live your life without any clue as to whether you were doing it correctly. That you might never meet your partner in your life, that you would only have each other until all the stupid tests ended.

A way for the universe to say "fuck you" to humans who desperately wanted guidance on how to live. Or maybe, it was a way of telling them that there was no such guide, and that if they gave all the clues humans would never be free to make their own decisions.

So, maybe Jason Todd and Danny Fenton were the luckiest people on the fucking planet, for being the only ones who knew about each other, for being the only ones who could see that thread connecting them.

Personally neither of them felt lucky, dying was horrible, but at least the thread helped them feel less alone. Maybe someday one of them would be brave enough to follow it.

This idea is an off-shoot of this one.

So during the whole 'Amity Park slowly breaking into a giant ghost portal' fiasco going on, Tucker had to leave along with everyone else. He was relatively fine with Sam staying behind, he respects her wishes and all that, and she did promise to at least keep in touch with him.

When he got to his new city he... didn't really know what do to with himself, to be honest. His two friends were busy, one with whatever ghost prince stuff is happening in the Ghost Zone and the other staying behind in what used to be his hometown.

Sure, he went to school. But no one really clicked with him like his two best friends did and honestly, he was just hurrying through the day to go and call up his friends.

Of course, he did notice that something was weird. It was honestly hard not to in all honesty.

He knew that there weren't superheroes in real life when his family went on those few rare trips out of Amity Park, nor was there supposed to be any supervillains.

His theory?

Pariah Dark must have displaced them in an alternate reality or a completely different earth when their town got thrown back out of the Ghost Zone. Which might be the reason why it was breaking apart like it was.

So, what was, a highly intelligent lonely kid who's two best friends are ghost royalty and an allogene in training of who he thinks might be a forgotten plant deity, to do when faced with a whole new world of Superheroes and Supervillains?

Know the saying, when in Rome do as the Romans do?

Yea he basically did that.

Of course, he had to keep it from his parents, cause they obviously wouldn't want their child to participate in the bloody scene that is the Super world. But he, honestly, did not care about getting hurt or any of the likes.

He already had multiple programs infest the city to let him into, virtually anywhere besides a few select buildings that proved either too tough, too annoying, or just not worth it to hack into. He kept in touch with the Fentons, snagging a few of their genius designs that he knew they would most likely leave to rot and overall just being friendly with.

He had a few designs of his own, too, that he was working on in his lab/room. Few of them being miny spider robots, rats, flies and the occasional bird that he decided to use for surveillance or tracking purposes.

When he was done with all his preparations, he had to figure out how to make his first grand entrance to the super scene, and what his grand 'goal' would be.

You might think he would be a hero, but honestly. He wants to be a villain.

He was having trouble with it honestly, what kind of villain he would be, his persona, goals and what-not. Until he saw one of those old-timey cartoons on accident and decided that was what he wanted to be.

So, he used his program to broadcast everywhere over the city- masking his voice and appearance, obviously- and announced that he was going to take over this city, and then, the world! Firstly, starting with kidnaping the high society members in this very city to hold for ransom and if they wanted them back and without harm, then they best act quickly!

Said high society members unfortunately included the civilian personas of a few members of the Justice League.

And that is how the Justice League became a rather big, yet extremely fun, thorn in his side.

Imagine Amity Park being in DC, but it's not "just" the territory of another cape. It's a little more like... Atlantis, or maybe Witch World.

Everyone in Amity Park is a little... different. And there's studies on it and everything!

Consistencies in second-generation and beyond physiological differences! Better night vision, lower resting heart rates and breaths per minute, hardier immune systems and musculature structures, and lower body temperatures across the board!

That's not even getting into the psychological profiles that regular interactions with the dead causes...

A Dp x Dc idea that isn't Danny-centric!? Say it ain't so!

So I think that this'll be a relatively short one but anywho.

Pariah Dark forcing the entirety of Amity Park into the ghost zone did not come without consequences, even with the ghost shield the Fenton's put over the town.

Said consequences come in the form of the entire basically becoming a ghost portal in and of itself. It mostly happened slowly over time, with the town experiencing quakes that spread quakes that lead to the Ghost Zone.

Everyone had to evacuate when it got really bad, well, mostly everyone. You see, Sam didn't want to leave Amity Park at all so he tried to find ways to convince her parents to let her stay even if said city was basically crumbling.

Then she had an idea.

What if she became one of Undergrowths allogenes? (taken from genshin impact)

So she persuaded (read: bullied) Danny into taking her to him so they could make a deal and let her stay in Amity. Undergrowth was surprisingly accommodating to the both of them, what with Danny becoming the new Ghost Prince and Sam already leaving a good impression on him.

He gave her a task, take this seed and place it within the middle of Amity Park and watch over it until it fully grows, then, and only then, will he accept her as one of his allogenes.

So Sam very obviously took said seed, said yes, and went to plant it.

The center of Amity Park was basically a giant ghost portal, it was small, at first. But with each and every quake it expanded and expanded until it couldn't be ignored anymore, so after Danny and Sam got back and went to it, Sam just dropped the seed in the middle of it and watched it sink.

Luckily Overgrowth gave her a proper method she should follow to ensure its growth, at the very least.

It took 4 years for the seed to grow, 4 years of relative isolation for Sam. Danny was usually busy with High Prince duties, what with being summoned and the likes, while Tucker was busy with taking over the outside world.

They still made time for her however.

When it grew Undergrowth gave her praise, not many would willingly keep themselves in isolation to grow an interdimensional seed from the other world. Such, he made do on his promise and gave Sam a portion of his powers, turning her into one of his allogenes.

He did however tell her that she was only Allogene he's ever had in multiple eons. Some of them chose to reenter the reincarnation cycle, while others sacrificed themselves for the greater good and such, some of them among the living are still alive, however, so they should be at least, vaguely aware of her existence.

Sam trained her new powers, familiarizing herself with them until it was as easy as breathing, which took a few months of non-stop training. Thankfully her new stamina is leaps beyond that of her previous human self. Eventually, she was even able to create a few lotus' that acted mostly as transport around the giant ghost portal.

Oh yea, did I mention that the Ghost Portal expanded enough to take over all of Amity Park? Well, a few buildings here and there stilled survived, mostly like small islands but still.

So Sam was living a pretty fine life, all things considered. Her days were very peaceful, tending to a few plants here and there, taking care of the giant tree that sprouted from the seed she grew, training her powers and talking to Danny and Tucker whenever they dropped by.

It was repetitive, but a nice one.

Then her daily cycle was interrupted by people claiming to be the Justice League, and she honestly did not have a clue as to who they are. She didn't really keep up with the news after planting the seed, or the outside world at all for that matter, the only one she regularly kept in contact with was Tucker.

She thought back on, and Tucker did mention them once or twice. Mostly painting them as irritating individuals yet worthy of respect, not that she knew why but she wasn't going to just let them step in here regardless. It's pretty rude to just step into someone's home without permission, no?

I feel Jack fentonightingale gets underused. Perfect build in to mess with the JLD.

So nightingale was “good” at what he did. Scaring of any and all magical beings. Sorcerers, demons, magicians, and what not. People all around were awed at this ancestor.

In reality he was just annoying, so the beings left whatever city he was in.

While nightingale was horrendous at “destroying them atom by atom” he had excellent self defense. Nothing, no being could lay hands on him. So killing him wasn’t on the table.

Instead they all just set up a warning system. If a fenotnightingale was around, they’d all know.

This warning system followed all the ancestors/decendents. That’s why the only supernatural beings they ever run into in Amity is the members of the infinite realm. Those ghost just want to mess with them from the afterlife. They specifically mess with Danny cause out of everyone who could of become a halfa it was an ancestor of the fentonigtingales.

So when phantom as the ghost king shows up to the watchtower to discuss the GIW and anti-ecto acts magical beings are very confused. Like this guy’s presence was announced to them. Did he do that? Why make it annoying?

Some think he’s a prick who wants all eyes on him and is trash at magic, reversing the intended effect.

In the end the magical members just avoid Danny. His very presence annoys them.

One day John can be the ones who finally connect the dots.
