Sweetheart Diet

I have been watching a bunch of weight loss, how i lost x weight videos on youtube. Primarily from korean accts, mainly to aid in practicing my korean, but also because they have sometimes got some good tips and tricks they have done.

But through it all I found some amazing diet plans and tips that… Tbh are basic af and common knowledge but its helped me set up a diet plan I am determined to follow. Im just masterposting it all so I have my digital copy, as well as a hard copy so it’s a lot harder to lose, and easier to see and find no matter where I am. I also found out about some AMAZING korean diet products that work and a low cal and can aid in meal replacement, as well as cravings!

Ok lets get into it ~

rules
  • 2-3 fast days per week
  • 9am-6pm eating time, not allowed to eat outside these designated times
  • 1-2 hours excerise daily, add an extra hour on than what you have already done for that day if you eat more that day
  • If you are going out with friends or family, do not eat the day prior, and wait until 5pm the next day before eating again
  • If you are going out drinking, eat a small meal in the earlier hours of the day, say around lunch. Drink only enough to have a fun buzz, but dont make yourself sick. Do not eat again until 5pm the next day
  • Drink lots of water, especially ice cold water
  • Lemon water 2x daily: as soon as you wake, before bed
  • Have a shot of apple cidar vinager with a tsp of cinnamon, lemom juice and, this is optional, honey, 2-3x daily: morning and night, or before every meal.
  • Always drink a glass of water during meals, or a cup of herbal tea.
  • Carry herbal tea packets in your bag for when you are out. You can easily ask places for hot water and put the teabag in it
  • Take vitamins, meds and birth control (if you’re on that) daily at 7-9am
  • When eatining, make sure someone see’s. Or they see you plats with food and then without
meal plan
  • Chew ice and sugar free gum when hungry
  • Spoonful with a piece of kimchi, or something spicey/spicey flavoring, hot sauce
  • Or, measure servings in a papercup, allowed up to 3 cups per meal max
  • Or, measure complete serving as a fistful
  • Or, eat 1 meal a day
  • Lemon water 2x daily
  • Apple cidar vinager cinnamon shot 2-3x daily
  • Herbal tea ALWAYS
  • Some teas I like: green, match, mint, jasmine, lou long
  • And while im not a huge fan, its good for appetite suppressing and weight loss: ginger and lemon tea
  • 1 coffee with half a tsp of sugar, and 1/3-¼ cup mill (depending on type of milk and cals in it) on college and placement days to keep you going
  • Some Safe Foods: kimchi, frozen grapes, berries, watermelon, necterines and peaches, cherries, fruits, cucumber, lettuce, broccoli, sweet potato, spinach, tea, chicken breast, eggs, ice, carrotts, peppers, oats, yoghurt under 150 cal
  • For sweet and chocolate cravings: épanie tea. Tastes just like chocolate. Is actually tea. Has the same calories of tea.
  • Konjac Jelly. I learnt about this from a korean model when she was speaking about what she eats for dinner to stay in shape when going on a diet. Its can be used as a snack, and can be used as a meal supplement, lioe she uses it. The calories and flavores range, and are shown in bold on the packets. I think most stayed in a one digit calorie range for the full serving. Its half way between a water and jelly like substance, the jelly aiding in making you feel full!
  • Throw in random couple of days from fad diets such as sailor moon, iu, papercup, jimin, etc throughout your weeks. You dont need to follow the diet for x long, just control eating on days you arent. I know for myself, I get tired of following a full set out everything planned diet. Because while im restricting its sort of a bit of a wonder just what ill eat, even if i know its low cal and usually from my safe foods, also sometimes there are things i want to eat more, or that might go off bc i bought it a while ago. So you dont have to follow the diet for the same amount of time it specifies, or though you can as well, just control your eating around those times (ehem always) you use a diet day.

  • 1-2 hours daily
  • Yoga, pilates and swimming are my faves
  • If you eat more than planned or normal, add in another 1 hour workout ontop of the amount you have done that day already, or was going to do
  • Keep those workouts on the lighter side, such a riding your bike, walking your dog (or just going for a walk if you dont have a dog), swimmimg, or yoga
  • Elle Macpherson Aerobics Workout dvd is a glld workout dvd to follow. It goes through segments of aerobics full body blasts and then sectioned workout workouts (?lmao?) that target specific areas such as core, butt, arms, back, legs and you get the picture. You work up a real sweat doing this, so keep a water bottle and a towel ready at hand.

  • Watch weight loss youtube videos
  • Study a language (for me Im learning korean rn)
  • Do some yoga
  • Clean your room
  • Clean the house, do washing
  • Watch kpop mvs, compile a playlist ofnyour fave songs with the body goals you dream of
  • Brush teeth
  • Chew ice or gum
  • Listen to music, learnnto play a new instrument or song
  • Draw
  • Go for a walk
  • Go for a swim
  • Learn something new
  • Take a nap
  • Ride a bike, if you dont know how then take up the challange to learn
  • Learn a kpop dance
  • Play with pets if you habe any
  • Compile a collection on ig of all you’re favorite photos. Of what you want your dream future to look like in an aesthetic way, almost as if you were ig famous and posting to your fans, as well as with pics of what you want to look like. The outfits youll wear. The foods you can afford to eat so long as you workout after. The apartment. The pets. The travel goals. The bf or gf goals. The friends goals. Look through it, add to it and dream and remember your progress and how just a bit kore will have you one step closer to thag future you.

Vegetable broth

So I can’t give an accurate calorie count, but one serving of vegetable broth is usually about 12 calories! It’s super easy to make, and to store!

I made this and it was really good.

Ingredients:

So literally any vegetables will do, but here’s what I used-

1. 2 medium potatoes

2. 2 onions

3. 2 carrots

4. 2 celery sticks

5. 4 garlic cloves

6. Dash of soy sauce

7. Salt and pepper

Feel free to add any spices you like!

Instructions:

1. Put everything into a pot, and cover with water (I used 8 cups)

2. Bring to a boil

3. Let simmer for 1-2 hours (stir occasionally)

4. Strain veggies out

After I strained the veggies, I put some in a bowl with the broth to make a veggie soup!

Put the broth in a muffin tin and freeze to save! (After a day you can put the sections into a ziplock bag!)

MY BIGGEST TIP

Clean! When you want to binge, clean things. Clean your body: shower, bathe, shave, put on lotion, brush hair, wash face, change clothes, brush teeth Clean your surroundings: tidy your room, scrub your floors, vacuum, do laundry Clean your mind: meditate, nap

This is for my personal collection of information. I do not guarantee these statements, I’m moreso making a list of things I’d like to remember when I can’t get my mind off eating. Trigger warning!!

• I have repeatedly been telling myself “Just wait one more hour, and then you can have it.” of half an hour, etc. Because it’s like oh, I can wait just one more hour and then I always end up forgetting about it. • If your weakness is pizza like mine is, flatbread pizza is key. It tastes so damn good, it’s more filling than regular, my aunt describes it as the “stuff” of pizza, and even if you’ve binged on 4 pieces of flatbread pizza, you’ve still only eaten the equivalent of 2 pieces of regular pizza. • I keep reminders in my calender for fasting days. I have a schedule planned and every morning when I get the notification I don’t swipe it away all day. When I read other notifications before I click on it, I see it. When I unlock my phone, I see it. It really keeps me on track. The rule is whenever I see it, I absolutely can’t eat all day. I usually set it one month or two at a time. **Not a good idea at all if your friends/parents are the type to steal your phone and look through it.** I don’t hang out with anyone really and my mom doesn’t look at my phone so I don’t have this problem. 😂 • Picturing worms crawling in and out of that food you wanted. Who the fuck would want to eat it then? Would you still be willing to eat it? • My mom LOVES to eat. She loves to “care for” me in ways of planning meals ahead of time to literally make sure we eat. I usually try to spend more time at school so I can tell her I got a snack out of the vending machine or whatever, when I didn’t. • If she asks what I eat, I almost always tell her I’ve eaten chips because there’s no guarantee that something will be in the garbage or there will be evidence of food eaten (it doesn’t require a plate, or a bunch of dishes, etc). A small but important detail is knowing she doesn’t keep track of how much is in the bags. • If she starts trying to get me to eat, describing the taste/texture of food, asking me what I want, lecturing me etc, I remember that she still can’t actually force me to eat. The word “no” is powerful if you’re persistent enough. I’m also lucky that when we go to my aunt’s house she defends me and says “She said she’s not hungry??” and I love her so much for that. • Grapes make a wonderful filler, because they are mostly water but you still feel like you’ve eaten a lot! Grapes are one of my safe foods to eat in front of other people if I have to. Bite each one in half and chew it 15 times. You’ll be tired from chewing and not even want more. • Sometimes if I am bloated after a binge or just feel bloated, I take a Midol. It really helps relieve the pressure in my stomach. • Any time you microwave anything, even if it’s just to heat up your tea, jog in place. This helps me feel less motivated to even use the microwave because I don’t feel like jogging and I associate the two together. • A lot of Ana blogs on here say to go “chug” a cup of water but honestly that scares me a little, a slow but steady supply of hydration is easier for your metabolism than just dumping it down your throat in 12 huge gulps. Take your time sweethearts. As a general rule of thumb, always keep a water bottle next to you. • Self care days are a good distraction and take up lots of time if you go slow. Shaving, moisturizing, plucking, showering, washing, painting your nails (hands and feet, of course), take your vitamins, take a bath with Epsom Salt, doing your hair/makeup, put coconut oil in your hair, keep drinking that water!! • Make tons of lists that amount to a pile of motivation: reasons you want to be skinny, the things you want to hear when you’re skinny, what clothes you can buy, what the favorite parts of your body will be, what you will love about yourself when you get there, where youd like to travel when you don’t feel too gross to go outside, goals, remind yourself of your goal weights, etc. Tons of motivation and make sure to fill as much of the page as possible. Make a list of all the mean things people have said to you and promise yourself you will never hear them again. • Remember that sometimes when we reach our desired weight, we don’t look exactly as we had expected. That’s okay. Everyone is different and you are still fucking beautiful!! • Stay away from the kitchen unless it’s to grab water, fruit, or vegetables. Nothing else will do. • You’ve all heard it before, 2 liters of water a day. Minimum. • Make sure you do SOME kind of activity every day. Especially if you’re feeling weak, it doesn’t have to be difficult or lots, or even exercise. Take your dog for a walk around the block and make sure it’s about them and not the calories you’re burning. Take the garbage out. Just stay on your feet. • sleeeeep… • GREEN TEA GREEN TEA GREEN TEA (make sure to keep your iron levels up, green tea can deplete iron). Even a little can be so good for you. I try to only have one cup a day, or 2 if I’ve found I haven’t had any in a long time. • This is honestly really unhealthy mentally in my opinion but to me it is a subconscious habit. Since the beginning of the semester I have forced myself to park farther away from my school in the parking lot so it forced me to walk further. After walking further, I take the stairs, chanting things to myself with each stair. “Fat, fat, fat” “burn, calories, be, skinny,” “this, will, make, you, pretty”. If I’m in a bad mood it’s “fuck, this, fuck, that, fuck, you” etc. By the time I get to the top of the stairs I don’t even notice I’ve taken them because I think about the chanting so in depth. • (Will note that this is not my original tip. I don’t take credit for this, unfortunately I don’t remember who posted it but..) buy black garbage bags, not white, take the food to your room. Either dump the whole thing inside a black bag so nobody can see the food inside or chew then spit. • Spicy food helps to make you feel fuller faster as well as boost your metabolism. A SUPER important reminder is having too much spicy food can cause stomach ulcers. Please be careful, loves. • Homework serves as an excellent distraction. I am a bio/premed major, and because of that I immerse myself in school. You can’t think about food when you’re pissed at your homework. • I am a bit on the artistic side, so I can easily pass a good 4 hours trying to work on a drawing or a good 1-2 hours taking photos. If its a large project its anywhere from 7-13 hours (not all at once). Currently I’m focusing more on photography but art in general serves as another excellent distraction as well as a positive mental break.

* Things not to forget: * • Nobody is or ever will be completely perfect. That is not the goal. • Fasting for too long can cause your body to start eating away at your muscles rather than fat. Because muscle is a lot more difficult to break down than fat, it’s a lot harder on your kidneys. • Drinking a lot of water with no access to a bathroom can also be extremely damaging to your kidneys and lead to UTI’s. • Please don’t get mad at your parents/family/friends. They really are just trying to help. Their concern is bewildering to us given our own lack of self compassion, but they do. They care. Don’t get angry when they ask if you’ve eaten or try to get you to. They don’t understand. • If you ever feel faint or any situation that means you are in danger, eat something. I don’t care if it’s a grape, or a cracker. Our bodies have limits. Don’t be afraid to respect those limits sometimes. • Never be afraid to ask for help. • Reporting accounts with Ana related subjects does not help anyone. You aren’t stopping anyone, or saving anyone. You’re doing the exact opposite, actually. You can’t take away one of the only outlets someone has and call it help. • You are loved and cared about, even when you can’t for the life of you realize it. It’s okay. We’ve all been there, this is your sign. Someone cares about you. It might just be me even, it might be a million people. We care. This community cares. Don’t give up. • Don’t ever let anyone make you feel ashamed for your illness. Especially if you’re overweight, don’t have perfect hygiene, eat regularly, blink, breathe, and are reading this right now. Don’t apologize for a goddamn thing. But also know when it’s too much, because we all know it can be that way sometimes. That’s okay. 💕

Look at yourself. Look. You see all of that huge, gross fat? YOU did that. It’s YOUR fault. YOU did it to yourself. Now are you gonna sit there and let it get worse?

Not if Ana can help it. Get off your ass and work off that gross, gluttony, fattening food you ate. Didn’t eat? You need to work out anyways, fatass.

You’re so gross. No one will ever want to be around you, because who wants to hang out with the fat person?

Oh, someone’s having a party? Well, don’t even think about cake or ice-cream. You can have that shit when you’re skinny.

Now shut your trap and keep doing your cardio.

Great way to suppress your appetite and prevent a binge:

You wanna binge? What are you craving? it’s okay honey, go get it. You earned it. take a bite, chew it, taste it, isn’t it good? Now DON’T swallow. That’s right, spit it out. Spit it in your hand, a napkin, whatever. Look at it. That’s disgusting right? It’s slimy and blended, it looks like vomit. You had that in your mouth? would you put that disgusting, fatty, sugary calorie filled pile of mush back in your mouth? It doesn’t look so appetising now does it? If you wanna continue on your binge, you aren’t allowed unless you put that disgusting blob back in your mouth first, chew it more and swallow. Now, I take it you won’t do that, because that’s fucking gross. So why eat the rest? It’s going to end up looking the same. Yuck. Put it away. Have a drink, and watch how easy it is to resist from now on.

My binge tricks

These are things I do to help stop or prevent, or recover from a binge.

BEFORE: 🐽 drink a glass of ice water 🐽 light a candle that is a clean/perfumey scent (nothing that smells like food!) Sometimes it kills the craving 🐽 boil water for tea (sometimes the act of heating water tricks me into thinking I made food) 🐽 read a book/magazine (i pick new books, they draw me in so I forget how long it’s been) 🐽 drink your tea, but make a bigger cup than normal or make two, it feels like a treat 🐽 find a craft project that gets your hands dirty! If you’re covered in glue, you can’t touch food! 🐽 look at thinspo 🐽 my biggest help is to clean, start vacuuming or dusting or scoop the yard for dog crap or the cat box for poops, or wash Windows or reorganize your clothes (looking at how big the clothes you wear are is also very motivating) 🐽 put on your goal pants! Everyone has a pair. 🐽 take a body check photo 🐽 write down the # of calories you’d be eatting, then figure out how long you’d need to work out to burn that off. If it’ll take more than a set of jumping Jack’s or crunches, don’t eat it 🐽 for every time you open the fridge or cupboard, whether you eat or not, do 25 squats or 25 push ups. 🐽 weigh yourself

DURING: 🐷 if you end up binging, look down at how much you’ve already eaten, if it’s less than half the amount you grabbed then drink warm water with lemon. If it’s over half, drink cold water with lemon. (The hot will help mimic a full tummy and the cold helps your body jump start to burn more calories). Don’t drink both, you may puke. And don’t eat what’s left, duh. 🐷 go eat in front of a mirror. You’ll get like one bite further then stop, I promise. 🐷 ask yourself if you’re willing to eat the same # of calories in carrots. If not, throw the rest out. If so, go get some damn carrots and throw the other crap out. 🐷 if you’re binging because someone asked you to eat, eat some, wait a bit, then claim it made you feel sick like food poisoning. Or say you ate before and are saving the rest for later (throw out later obvs) 🐷 if it’s sweets you grabbed, ask yourself if you would eat the same # of calories in strawberries. If so, go get some fruit! If not, you should remember processed sugar gives you zits and thunder thighs. Not cute. Pizzaface and burgerbutt. Groosss. 🐷 ask yourself, if I saw someone eating this, would I think they’re a pig? If no, then you may actually be eating something good for you. If yes, put the food down, piglet. Grooss. 🐷weigh yourself

AFTER: 🐖 drink cold water, slowly, so you don’t puke 🐖 take a walk, even a lap or two around the yard or each room in the house! 🐖 take some magnesium to promote digestive/bowel movements (this is not a laxative, it just helps keep stuff moving) 🐖 after about 40 minutes (so you don’t puke) do 25 sit ups, 25 leg lifts per side, and 25 lunges. Then drink some water and rest 15 minutes. Then repeat, but add 30 jumping jacks. The drink water and rest. Then repeat, but add the jumping Jack’s and hold a plank for 30seconds. If up for it, repeat the cycle from the start one more time. 🐖 Do. Not. Get. Mad. At. Yourself. Depression hinders weight loss, so be gentle on yourself. 🐖 take a bath 🐖 drink tea 🐖 DO NOT PURGE. EVER. 🐖 weigh yourself

⏳My fasting checklist⌛

⭐DISCLAIMER❗Okay im obviously no expert. These are my personal tips and techniques to prepare/undergo a fast, and also how to wrap one up safely⭐

🍳Before fasting🍳 📅Make sure the day before you ate enough nutrients/vitamins. Your stored energy is going to be your energy source. 📅 🙅However, Fasting immediately after a binge isnt a good idea either. Im not fully educated om why but please trust me. 🙅 🍌If possible, eat a banana. Youll need a healthy amount of potassium🍌 🍉Buy various flavors of gum. I like to pick wintergreen mint, and watermelon for sweet cravings. Peppermint is an appetite repressant, and all mint flavored gum will make you not wanna eat🍉 🌊Make sure youll have plenty of water bottles. Tap water is okay imo, but some people arent too keen on the idea/dont have access to drinking water for example; your house may have well water🌊 💪If you exercise, i suggest you doing your imtense workouts before you fast💪 📱Tell an ana buddy/trustworthy person about your fast. This is vital in case anything happens to you📱

🐚During your fast🐚 🍴Stay away from that kitchen🍴 🚙GIRL u gotta stay aware. When restricting/fasting your brain gets delayed responses. You dont drive so thats okay, but if anyone reading this has a license, please dont. Let someone else eligible to take the wheel, or stay home🚙 🕔Track your time. I often count by 12s if I’m doing an extended fast. Pick a time thats early in the morning. An ideal time is 7 since that’s the time most people stop eating at night (12 hours elapsed) also if you start early in the am time goes by sleeping and such you know?🕤 🌀STAY. HYDRATED. DRINK AT LEAST 3 BOTTLES A DAY. Avoid empty calories🌀 💃Exercise lightly. Personally, i dont even risk it, because overexerting yourself could actually destroy your heart💃 💫If you need to eat, allow yourself. And when i say need, not when the hunger pangs are bad. If you are faint/dizzy/close to blacking out/experiencing double vision, or extremely weak, eat.💫 📖find something to do. Eating derives mostly from boredom, if youre not doing anything then youll want to eat📖 ❗Chew your gum to push through hunger pangs❗ 🌙Take a nap🌙 🛀Take a relaxing bath, or a shower🛀 📒Plan your according to what works for you. If its easier to work during a fast, by all means. If you like to stay home and play it safe, thats perfectly fine too! Do what makes you comfortable. 📒 🏣when you fast your liver makes more bile in order to aid digestion (i guess) so if you start vomitting please end your fast and eat something. Vomitting during a fast usually means your body may be low on potassium. Potassium levels below 2.8 requires hospitalization🏣 🐷Browse thinspo. Reverse thinspo. Fitspo. Fatspo. Bonespo. Whatever suits you, tumblr is here for you🐷 ✒journal your day/feelings/calorie intake/goals/ideas. Let it all out, your journal will never wrong you✒ 🔨plan the end of your fast, This is so important in order to avoid binging right at the end of your fast.🔨 💦brush your teeth until you dont feel a speck of grime. This helps me in general because tooth paste makes everything taste foul💦 💋If you use lipstick, make it perfect. Nothing is worth destroying its beauty💋 👙Dig out your summer clothes out of storage. Do the clothes look bigger?👙 📹Dig through a photo album, or facebook, and compare to how you look now. If you have a photo album but no recent photos of yourself, compare yourself to family and friends closest to your age or size. 📹 💡Help mom or dad take care of some house work💡 ⏳Its very dangerous to push to 72 hours in a fast. At a certain point, your body runs out of fat, and starts deteriorating your muscles. Your heart will be at risk, along w other muscles, at around 36 hours. Please correct me if thats wrong.⌛ ☎You can talk to me you know? You can talk to friends. To family. Colleagues. Your pets! ☎ 📢no like legit if youre struggling dont be afraid to reach out for support. Talk to me if you have no one📢

🙇After your fast🙇 Youre gonna need to decompress and take it easy. Youre probably dying to eat, dying to exercise, dying to think clearly. But slow down 🚦!! Ill help you from what i personally know 🌿Eat. Something. small. A cup of lettuce, a few baby carrots, a small bowl of soup. It has to be healthy🌿 🍸id avoid alcohol. Alcohol on an empty stomach sounds unpleasant🍸 🍬The temptation for candy is real. Dont even think about it. Dont even LOOK at any, even online🍬 📰stay away from that kitchen!! Binging snowballs out of control and it all begins in being in the wrong place at the wrong time📰 👻when youre cooking, dont take bites. It adds up. Also, when youre waiting for your food to cook, try to leave the kitchen as much as possible. Out of sight, out of mind👻 🌰redundant but eat healthy. Eat anything nutritional. Anything w more than 3g of protein, protein is very important🌰 👊Exercise RESPONSIBLY. Give yourself a break more often than you would. Take it slow. You should stop if youre lightheaded, dizzy or falling, nauseated, weak, your heartbeat is irregular/loud, or when you feel like youre going to pass out.👊 📧update your followers on your success!📧 🔴⚪REMEMBER. YOU WANT TO BE THIN. NOT DEAD. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. IF YOU NEED TO END YOUR FAST EARLY, END IT. IF YOU FEEL FINE AFTER 36-48 HOURS, LIQUID FAST. YOU NEED NUTRIENTS.
