Things I didn’t know

“And–” she waved a pen as though to underline her statement–“if you’re interrupting a sentence with an action, you need to type two hyphens to make an en-dash.”

You guys have no idea how many students in my advanced fiction workshop didn’t know any of this when writing their stories.

I wish I had this when I was critiquing my classmates stories so I could show them all the different examples.

Given some other posts I’ve seen about nazis/fascists infiltrating certain circles, I figured I’d kick this post out as a kind of a heads up to any pagans, if you hear anything referencing the following:

You may recognize some of it from the Azov Battalion in Ukraine (I hope to punch every single one of them one day tbh or at least run over their feet):

because they are all references to Nazi occultism in some way or another. It was mainly a Himmler led thing and he devoted a lot of time, money, and effort to research into it more. There are neo nazis out there following Himmler’s lead. They ARE lurking in the pagan circles. And not just Norse or Rodnovery. Some have taken a shine to Celt and Kemeticism.  Mostly for recruiting though.

Even if you aren’t in pagan circles, reblog this please? I want people to be aware as they could easily be tricked into learning about these things without the proper context, maybe even lied to about how it’s ‘ancient’ and was ‘actually stolen’ and ‘appropriated’ by the nazis and will even lie about the origins depending on what circle they are trying to hang out in. Also they might hang out in agnostic/atheist circles.

Plus, if you aren’t pagan it’s still a good idea to be aware of a couple of symbols being used that aren’t always on the “nazi symbol” lists. And it goes without saying if you have more symbols or terms to look out for, please add them to the post.
