They/them.  Dni if you suck.  I am white if u dni w/ white ppl

seeing analyses of nimona is fun because they have really good insights and are analysing every inch of this movie but in virtually all of them there is a gaping hole where the very obvious messages and metaphors in regards to race and racism in this film lay.

Like tell me, do you believe the story of a brown man, brought in by a black woman in an attempt to fix the systemic issues in a system where ancestry is valued over merit, is framed for the murder of said black woman by a white woman who is fueled by paranoia that a black woman’s efforts might upend the system, the supposed threat this brown man and of dangers that don’t exist and a desparation to fulfill the legacy of a white woman who is a literal metaphor for the way bigotry is taught (in particular homophobia/transphobia). And thus the brown man is villanised for something he didn’t do and is forced to find support and companionship in another victim of the system, with this story ending with the white woman willing to destroy everything than let the brown gay man and a trans girl change the system/her mind, has absolutely no racial implications or messages surrounding race.

Before I… crack them open?

....before you put them in here:

the water cup even comes with a little needle at the bottom for hole-poking purposes, see:

sorry i meant boil not cook

WHAT IS THAT

It's an egg cooker!

It's like a toaster and an electric kettle had a baby and ...the baby boils eggs.

Even better news about German egg related gadgets… the Eierköpfer (it also has a super long German name), for when you need a guillotine to open your egg neatly

No offence to Germany but why are you guys so fucking insane

nothing to see here. Just normal feelings about egg.

*like actually learning/being interested in learning English, not like a few words or phrases. I actually started to understand English (specifically spoken) when I started watching doctor who, cause I couldn’t find it subbed. I learned the word “mannequin” from there lol

Also please reblog for bigger sample size etc

I think one of the most profound forms of love is "I'll try that, for you. I may not like it, but I'll try it."

It's a confused middle-aged man in a pottery class, whose daughter is helping him with his clay's plasticity. It's a kid scrunching up their brow while listening to their mom's favorite music, trying to figure out why she likes it. It's a girlfriend who says "Yes, I'll go with you" and her girlfriend cheering and buying a second ticket for a con. It's a friend half dragging another friend through an aquarium, the one being dragged laughing and calling out "Wait, wait, I know we're here for the exhibit, but I haven't been here! Slow down!"

It's being willing to spend some of your time trying something new because it makes someone you love happy.

The whole "common era" (BCE-CE) has to be the stupidest thing ever and I say that as a Christian who thinks we should indeed have a secular calendar.

"Oh no we can't use "Before Christ" and "After Christ", that's so Eurocentric. We'll change it to something else, like "common era", that's more neutral."

"Oh okay, and what's gonna be year 0 then?"

"Oh, the year of the birth of Christ of course"

As far as I'm concerned we live in the year 62 A.G. of the Space Age (After Gagarin), like in a proper sci-fi novel.
