it was so funny when i got to DS9 in STO because of course i immediately went to quark's bar and started doing the blowing a kiss emote at him but i didn't know until halfway through the like 50 times i did that that everyone could see the "[player name] blew a kiss at quark" thing in the nearby chat until i saw someone else's "[player name] [did emote at] [player or npc]" thing so it was just being announced to everyone on the station that i was blowing kisses at quark for like 5 minutes
