Reylo shippers, I need answers
Can reylo shippers please explain to me how Rey and Kylos relationship is a thing? Kylo literally tortured Rey in the last film, and has murdered his father and countless others with his own hands. I’ve seen some compare Kylo to Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice, but i feel like that’s comparing apples and oranges.
Now while I wouldn’t necessarily mind seeing a redemption arc, I don’t know if I can see Rey being romantically involved with Kylo. I genuinely want to understand where this ship is coming from and if their are examples of this kind of relationship happening in other works?

For me, being Star Wars fan is really hard.
And here’s why
I don’t like Anidala but I love both Padmé and Anakin as separate characters but I also like them together at some moments ya know what I mean? I also adore Stormpilot but I also want Finnrey so bad and I want to marry Poe but then if Finnrey happens then there is no Reylo but then I don’t want Reylo cause Finnrey and I also want Kylo to be alone cause sometimes I hate him, but then I don’t??? And like I want Rey to be Kenobi but then I don’t think her fate would be good if she was a Kenobi (not that it will be good anyway, this is Star Wars, everyone ends up hurt physically and/or emotionally), then I want her to be Palpatine cause why the fuck not I wanna see something weird, but then I want Kenobi to finally return to Star Wars. Then I want Finn to be Jedi, but then I don’t cause I don’t want him to die.
You see? It’s soooo confusing I don’t even know what is in my brain anymore. The only thing I know for sure is that Luke is my Lord and saviour and that I would kill for Ahsoka Tano any day of the year.

The fact that Finn kept and patched up Poe’s jacket (after Kylo cut holes in it), when he could have just gotten a new one from the resistance, is the most adorable thing ever! He really cherishes Poe’s gift.

Actually that’s not it at all.
There are many young people that watch shows like Voltron and are a part of the LGBTQ+ community. Many of those young people are taught that being apart of the LGBTQ+ community is a sin. Without representation in TV shows and movies they continuously believe that being gay, transgender, bisexual, etc. is bad.
I identify as bisexual and nonbinary. When I was younger there was hardly any representation and I was always surrounded by negative people bashing LGBTQ+. So I closed that part of myself off and it led to me becoming depressed.
Having representation in the media is a huge deal. It teaches young kids that it’s OK to be yourself, it’s OK to not feel comfortable as a certain gender, and it’s OK to feel attractions to the same gender.
I also know that there are parents out there that see two girls kissing and tell their children that that is not okay, that you should only like someone of the opposite gender. Having LGBTQ+ representation in Voltron would be an eye opener for many kids. It would make LGBTQ+ youth feel welcomed.
So that’s why I want Klance to become canon. Not because it’s some trend. I want Klance to become canon for the representation that the LGBTQ+ community deserves.

Finally managed to get the chapter done and the fic has been updated.

Lost forever in those dark deeps after the failure of the kerberos mission. And with that, they had also taken Keith will to live. But those that take, can also give it back.

Klance @ Diplomatic Meetings
-Lance enjoys these meetings, but they get a bit boring sometimes
-Keith hates them; he’s super restless the whole time and looks mildly constipated
-One day, Lance decided to make up a game to make the meetings more entertaining
-He would try his best to get Keith to laugh somehow and get him sent out of the room
-Keith caught onto what Lance was attempting to do but was desperate for a distraction, so he indulged in the game
-As a result, Lance always sits next to him during the meetings so he can whisper stupid comments into his ear
-”Do you think aliens pass gas? Like, what if they’re all just farting right now, but their farts are silent so we have no idea? What if they fart some kind of odorless gas that’s going to kill us?”
-Keith rolls his eyes at such comments and does not refrain from kicking Lance in the shins
-Once, Lance managed to get Keith to giggle so hard that he got the hiccups
-”I feel that forming this alliance would be very benefici- HIC”
-Keith got sent out of the room
-He didn’t get in trouble after everyone explained to Allura that humans couldn’t control the hiccups
-Lance counted the incident as a victory
-Keith said it didn’t because he got sent out for his hiccups, not for laughing
-At the next meeting, Lance was determined to win, so he decided to play dirty
-That’s right; he tickled Keith
-Keith laughed so hard, he snorted
-He got sent out of the room again
- He got in trouble this time
