I'm hopeful for well dressed Eve next season. i mean if she and V are together in some sort of way, V's gonna be right there with the will and the eye to help dress Eve right. That seems like a natural extension, right?

Let Eve wear great clothes!! Sandra wants it, the fans want it, Villanelle wants it, give us well dressed Eve in season four!!

If Eve and Villanelle do end up on the run together I could definitely see there being a moment where Villanelle takes Eve shopping. There could be a scene where Villanelle says how they need to create new identities, and then makes a remark about how one of the things she needs to change is her clothes because they’re dreadful. So, she takes her to a high end fashion store and walks up behind her, whispering in her ear to pick anything she wants and to re-invent herself.

Eve then looks around and—even though she doesn’t want to admit it—there is a jolt of excitement she feels in being able to live a small part of the life she envied in Villanelle, of being able to have these expensive clothes and indulge in the luxuries of life. So, she then ends up going around and picking out a new wardrobe for herself while Villanelle does the same. Then, after a moment, Eve comes out of the dressing room wearing one of her new outfits and Villanelle looks over at her and is momentarily stunned. She then slowly walks up behind her as Eve looks at herself in the mirror, and for the first time in a long time, she actually feels confident and sexy.

As much as I would love Villanelle to dress Eve, I kind of want Eve to pick out her own clothes more. Just because I feel like Villanelle already showed Eve her sexiness in season one when she sent her the suitcase full of clothes. Although, there was a power play in her doing that as she was basically dressing Eve in what she wanted. It still allowed Eve to see her own attractiveness and actually feel confident about how she looked. So, now I would love it if Eve’s relationship with clothes would then turn into her actively choosing out bolder choices in clothing and feeling good in them.  

We got a very small part of that in season three where, even though her overall aesthetic didn’t change, she still had cleaner and sharper looking outfits. Particularly, towards the end of the season. Her shirts were nicer and more well fitted to her that accentuated and complimented her figure. The pants she had were nicer. Even her jacket, if I recall from an interview from Sandra, was a woman’s coat and a bit more expensive in taste.

So, Eve was already starting that change for herself. But, I would love for season four to really make the bold leap of giving her some great outfits that go beyond her regular attire. I feel like Eve is in a place now where the symbolism of her changing her style would make sense.
