So tonight I drew Spawn ( from 1992 image comics launch era OG McFarlane design ) okay my first instruction to Spawn was seeing the 97 movie Starring Michael Jai White as Al Simmons . As a kid I knew of the character but since I was a kid at the time my mom wouldn’t let me see it ( she is very Religious ) so I would sneak out and night and go into the den and Watch the HBO Animated Series of Spawn ( well that blew my mind the First few episodes of season 1 ..but that got into wanting to read the comics in my teens in 2008 along with a few other Image Comics that was from 1992 like Savage Dragon , Wildcats , StormWatch & ShadowHawk to name a few even Alan Moore & friends 1963 ) I just like certain things I enjoyed about the 1st 20 issues of Spawn like his colorful Rogues Gallery of the likes of OvertKill , Violator , Curse , Cy-Gor , Jason Wynn ,the Redeemer & Even YoungBlood’s Chapel ( to me he was the best part of the Spawn HBO Animated Series ) Anyways I am aware that a Cinematic Reboot of Spawn is on the way and it’s low budget .. but I’m a little optimistic to see what comes out of it when a trailer pops up . Other than that I find Spawn to a Cool interesting character who has as many issues as Savage Dragon which is Neat 😎
