Hello everyone.
I wandered back onto this old tumblr after listened to SPG for the first time in 3 years and man...are my old posts cringey.
Well, since I’m here, guess I’ll hang around a bit!
Out of curiosity, I decided to log back into my old tumblr account and was surprised to see that people were still actively reblogging from me. I haven’t been on this account in OVER A YEAR
I’m in college now studying wildlife biology and on the very real path to becoming an ornithologist. Guess the bird king title really works
I’m a wildlife photographer so honestly, if you’d like to see my work...
I may return to tumblr one day, under a different alias
After long consideration, I’ve decided to leave this blog. I will not delete it but I do not wish to be affiliated with it any longer. There are many old things on this blog that I am embarrassed of or bring back bad memories.
Now, I am still going to be on tumblr but just on a different blog. I will also be making a new photography blog as well as a birding and art blog.
I just want this to be a new step forward for myself and move on to a place where I feel comfortable at how I’m representing myself.
Although I may not gain my 1,000 followers again, I feel that this will be much better for me.
Thank you!

I must admit, I have a pretty good Civics grade
How the hell can you get over 100?
By doing all the easy extra credit work And getting a 27/24 on that Firestar for President video.

When your only working tripod just broke
Part of it has always been broken for awhile but this was the final blow. As I was opening it up to film something for school, the joint wouldn’t open up at all so the entire leg literally snapped off.
Now I need to go buy a new one...and they’re like $100.
THAT FIRST SITE IS EVERY WRITER’S DREAM DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY TIMES I’VE TRIED WRITING SOMETHING AND THOUGHT GOD DAMN IS THERE A SPECIFIC WORD FOR WHAT I’M USING TWO SENTENCES TO DESCRIBE AND JUST GETTING A BUNCH OF SHIT GOOGLE RESULTS

Unpopular opinion but… isn’t anyone else in the fandom tired of waiting for something to happen? There isn’t much stimuli in the SPG fandom, and all I ever feel is that the new live streams are the only minor jolt of activity that ever really get people hyped.
Everything else in the SPG fandom seems to be at a complete halt, and it’s just so boring having to wait for something to just pop up and surprise you… Like an update on the SPG comics would be nice.
I agree.
I mean, it’s not like they’re not doing stuff. The Bennettarium is weekly and fairly entertaining, but not really something to get excited about? And those livestreams are fairly frequent from David, plus the live concert (now that I’m on break I should finally watch that…).
But yeah, we’d like more lore stuffs. Like when Bunny did those Becile videos on Instagram. Character videos, the comic. That’s what captures the fandom’s interest. What encourages fanart etc.
It seems that since the twins left tumblr it’s all run dry. Maybe there was a bit of competition between fans to get their work seen/acknowledged by the twins and that kept the fandom interactive. Could have been that the twins would occasionally drop in some lore and answer asks. I totally understand why they left though. Tumblr is draining when I come here for leisure and they were doing it for work. And it wasn’t rewarding work with all the haters about (bless Chelsea for keeping it up for Fanart Fridays and Fanart/cosplay Modays).
But I feel like if we want the fandom to be active, we should be active in the fandom (not trying to point fingers. I know that I am not as active as I used to be. I don’t even know when the last time I logged onto the Cav was.) When I first joined the fandom there were tons of projects going on. Discussions, meetups, all the memes. But then drama happened. I mean, it was always happening as far as I can tell, but it got pretty nasty a few times. It drove people away and made others afraid to participate in fandom. It left a bad taste in a lot of people’s mouths so even though they’re still here, they don’t want to participate in fandom. People are afraid to look in the tags (plus the tags always freeze for me anyway, soo….)
Yeah…it honestly feels like the fandom pretty much died. Anything in the tags now is just the occasional fanart and people who do those tag games and are listing their music. No fan theories any longer. Not a lot of cosplay either. I mean, the only ones I see are people making Rabbit cosplays or fanbot ones. I don’t think I’ve seen a single Zero cosplay yet. The band itself doesn’t seem to be recording as much as they used to either so no fan theories or jokes out of videos posted by them or fans.
It does feel like them leaving Tumblr was a bad decision. Yes, the drama was bad but their absence doesn’t help when they don’t communicate with their majority of fans. Facebook and Twitter honesty aren’t as open to communication and sharing as Tumblr is.
Its disappointing really. I made great friends out of this fandom and have done some great things. It just doesn’t feel like much to do when you have worked through everything the band has given you and practically analyzed everything. We have practically been stuck on the edge of our seats waiting for the Necrostar and honestly, that suspense has disappeared for me.
Holy crap I completely agree. Not to open up old wounds but seriously
How long have we waited for comic pages???
How long have we waited for lore to fuel our fanart and theories???
If you ask me too long! I used to adore drawing fanart for this fandom but to be honest, with the lack of information I simply just ran out of ideas
And interest in general
I honestly lost so interest I still haven't listened to Quintessential. It just wasn't as big of a hype for me. I must admit, I think most fans like SPG because of the lore and once that tap runs dry...

I love this GIF way too much
LET ME MOURN IN PEACE, @spooky-cowfish!!!
It is that weird satisfaction that Maul is dead but still a twinge of sadness mostly because I grew up with Maul so much. I watched Clone Wars when I was younger and freaking loved Maul. I mean, when I played the Old Republic (I believe it was), I had my character as a dathomir and I was full out obsessed with him.
It was a bit funny though because when I watched a Star Wars movie for the first time, I mixed up all the characters thinking that young Anakin was Luke because I believed Clone Wars happened at the same time.
I will always like Maul. His story is complex and even a bit depressing. In some weird ways, I can even relate to it. It’ll hurt not to see him around any longer but then again, his time was up.
Whoever said “Goodnight sweet Sith” in Rebels Recon needs to get a raise right now.
I am not kidding. I actually started crying. I am seriously going to miss Maul.
Despite all the bad he has done, his story is kind of sad in terms that he was forced to become a sith and a living weapon. He watched his own brother die and even his sisters get killed. He was betrayed by his master. The only thing that kept him alive was the fact that he wanted revenge for what had happened to him.
I just wonder if this is what he meant about Luke when he said “He will avenge us.” Does he know that Luke will kill Sidious and avenge him? Or that the Chosen One, which is now Luke (not Anakin which changes a whole lot of things), will bring balance to the force and end his suffering?
Either way, great episode. I especially love the fact that Obi Wan respected Maul as he died. I better set up my Darth Maul shrine now...
WHAT DID MAUL MEAN BY HE WILL AVENGE US
