Already made a post about this, but it's honestly the most annoying part of the book so I'm making another
Reading House of Leaves be like
Zampano: a beautiful and in depth ten page analysis of abstract concepts and theories to make you perfectly understand Navidsons exact feelings
Truant: a girl stuck her finger up my butt and I liked it?? š®
You would all not believe how hard I'm resisting the urge to share this incomplete drawings
I must wait till it's either finished or I get bored
At the same time
I reallyy wanna show it to people
Showing the incomplete updates to Jo to avoid caving and posting them
Decided I didn't feel up to finishing this, or making it look good, so here's the incomplete version
Sometimes people think they're being helpful when they really aren't
I get it hurts me
I get it physically damaged me
I get in twenty years I will regret it
But if I don't have it, I might not even make it another twenty years
the āother cokeā better be the right oneš«
It's the other one
Semi related to what I just talked about
But I remember once, when I was a kid, maybe thirteen or so, I had a dream about doxing before I even knew what doxing was
Like, no wonder it scares me, I've been scared of it before I knew what it was even called
And then I later befriended someone who doxed people lol
Haven't had a nightmare in a long time, had to have one today
Can't explain quite what it was about
Thought I'd list some weird parts or changes
-general layout of my town was wrong
-brother looked wrong, can't remember if he was still named Aaron though
-only mom or dad would be there at the time, except they were playing the same person
-there was a somehow sprawling abandoned building
-or rather, it was a closed junk store at first, not at some points the dream just treated it like an abandoned building
-we don't have junk stores
-there were these other people, around my age, in there to
-those people either became straight up monsters, or monstrous people
-they raped my mom(or my dad?)
-they wanted to kill us
-by the time we left the building we weren't in town, but more a place a lot like my grandparents summer cabin in Canada
-Now they were just straight up monsters, but still looked like people, I dunno honestly
-when we drove away, we didn't come to roads like normal, but a vast and infinite desert with a thin wire bridge across it, and if you feel into the desert, you'd sink forever beneath the sand
That's all I remember clearly enough, though I'm certain there was some more. It probably sounds stupid, nightmares usually do when told, why I don't normally tell people, don't want them to think I was scared of something stupid. But nightmares aren't about experience, they're about feeling, and whatever you're feeling, too difficult to describe, is what makes them truly scary
Too tired to keep going but also too impatient to wait, here's an unfinished thing I'm trying to make for SuperHot. I don't think it's gonna look great, but I also think it's good but look terrible, so you know
I don't exactly feel like finishing this one, cause all that's left is people and it can't draw people, but here's a practice thing I drew before I try to draw something specific
which coke is the other coke
The other one
Cassesteormel
forgot to add this part
Cassesteormel is a new word I created
It has many meanings
Cassesteormel
How do I learn to draw?
I'm a part of a couple fandoms that are pretty much dead, or what is there, isn't really the stuff I like
So cause there isn't like any fan art out there, or very little and not with a lot of variation, I was wondering if I could do it for myself then
But I can't draw, I'm garbage at drawing in fact
So if anyone on Tumblr has any tips or recommendations or really just about anything, that would be helpful
In case anyone is curious, the fandoms I want to make art for cause I'm not finding enough of are: SuperHot, Small Spaces, IHNM&IMS, and Twilight Princess
I saw this meme going around on twitter and I think it'll be perfect for this account.

Out of Context WIP Poll
Rules: post out-of-context summaries of your WIPs and get people to vote on which one theyād most like to read
I only really have 2 wips, so I'll just do one for all the books that have made it to first draft
Yeah, summaries aren't my strong suit, but whatever
I'll tag @somethingclevermahogony @imsoveryveryconfusedatlife @addicted2coke-theothercoke @amandacanwrite and open tag :)
I don't exactly have that many worked on wips, so a few of these might just be wip ideas(but you'll never know which, mha ha ha )
Tagging: @dyrewrites @shepardsherd (meant to tag a third but can't remember their tag)

Deleted my previous post after getting reassured by my best friend
I know I'm not a bad person
And I'm so stupid for creating a Tumblr poll to see if having an opinion on something made me one
Sorry you always have to fix my confidence issues, Jo
I know I've talked about this before, but today as I'm very tired, I've decided to list some interesting fun facts about H. H. Holmes
And these aren't just any kind of fun facts
These are corrections of things people commonly believe that aren't write
- H. H. Holmes did not kill in the hundreds, that statistic comes from a, if I remember correctly, pulp fiction book published in the 1940's. While it's true we don't have an exact victim list, so it's technically possible he did kill that many, Holmes himself only every admitted to killing twenty something people (a number that he confessed to killing weren't even dead), and the cops only him on like nine.
- H. H. Holmes was not a serial killer, as a to be a serial killer your victims must be random. The people Holmes is believed to have killed were all people getting to close to his more nefarious doings, or people causing too much trouble for him.
- H. H. Holmes was not in any way particularly smart, in fact I'd say he's an idiot. He was constant in trouble with courts, only barely graduated, conned like a fool, and couldn't stop himself from digging a bigger and bigger hole for himself. The only reason he got away with things because people were negligent or complacent or just too kind.
- H. H. Holmes did in fact dig up bodies, but this wasn't actually that weird. Not really a disapproval, just adding some context cause a lot of people use that as proof of how evil or sick he was, when it's actually one of the more normal things about him. Holmes had a great interest in medical practice and medicine, and while he was not in any way especially good at it, more getting into it for his conns, it was common practice of the time for doctors and people studying to be a doctor to grave rob. It was how you learned about the human body. Holmes was no different in that regard then many other doctors of the time, even his friend and mentor, who's name escapes me.
- And to wrap it up cause I'm quite tired, H. H. Holmes, as far as we know, did not suffer from antisocial personality disorder (he wasn't a psychopath). A lot of people who don't know much about the subject seem to think he does, and maybe I'm not one to disprove them cause at the moment I've only taken a Psy 101 class, but from my understanding it just isn't true. I find it incredibly sad and wrong the way ASPD is just attached to killers by mass community without any thought. You don't need to call Homes a psychopath cause you don't like him and he was evil. You can just call him a bastard and murderous conman
sorry for any things I may have gotten wrong about H. H. Holmes or ASPD, it's been awhile sense I've learned about ether
also one more fun fact, his real name was Herman Mudgett
if you'd like to know more about Mudgett, shoot me an ask, I'll fill you in on how I learned about him(hint, for part of it you need a library card)
The Revenant
Sirens screamed like an old Drekavac now immortalized in cold steel, their cries accompanied by violent red lights of warning which shone upon blood that bathed dead corridors. Once soldiers of courage fled down winding halls in panic, more, in dread. Rightfully scared scientists, engineers, cooks, janitors, piolets, all that remained, that is, crammed themselves into every tight corner that provided a haven of safety. God-fearing roars of resident announcer Micheal Shirk bellowed out mechanically an omen that all could see. The Revenant had arrived once more.
As hell broke loose, and the stranger from across the stars massacred the occupants of Travelway Haden, Captain Philip prepared to take his own life.
Philip thought first of despair, of agony, of pain soon arriving and to be delivered by his own pistol. A vellian shot through the chest would be the force of a raging bull, the shock of the electric chair. Millions of volts were to course through his body instantaneously on impact. A violence beyond nature that would evaporate hair, burn skin, twist bone in sudden spasm, and partially cremate upon corpseification. Even all this would not act quick enough to prevent Philip from the second pain. From feeling the gaping hole in his chest, lungs popping and hearts punctured, muscle dropping to the floor, blood pouring.
As the Revenant drew near, and the last dying screams of attempted hiders vibrated upon metal, the choice became clear.
Philip's next thoughts were of regret, for Cassandra told clearly of the knife in her hand, and how she would come to exact payment in pain. It was clear from that start that whatever was trapped within the vessel, its construction of solid tungsten and alien alloy, was never meant to be. Yet Haden had welcomed the unknown stranger, nursed it, taught it. Taught it science, and religion, and history, and culture, and politics, and above all the purest way of man, the greatest pastime of humanity, how to kill. It so passively demonstrated its clear lacking need for instruction, standing idly and with disinterest at every world not involving food, until we had come to the topic of death. Foolish as children, we were but toys that interested it, animals barking such funny noises, but when a dog bites an owner, the dog must die.
Screams had all died down now, even the howls of Shirk. Not even the Drekavac and its fellow red dared announce the coming presence, for without warning Haden was silent and dark. Silent, that is, except for the soft foot prints of the Revenant outside the command rooms very door.
Steeled, prepared, Philip turned the gun rapidly not at the mortal monster beyond but towards his own life. Pulling hard the clicking trigger so that a finger paled from pressure. Dying. Alone. One billion miles from family. But safe from the Revenant. Safe.
The Revenant did later then open the heavy door to find a bloodbath. Mangled and burnt body that smolders atop fine carpet now dipped in red, half the chest thrown against the wall. It surely smiled at this site.
