upcoming succession seasons were the only thing keeping me going for the last three years. truly nothing on the horizon to be excited about either. looks like it's over for me fr this time
seeing so many tomgregmatsson shooters all of a sudden. it's not that serious, however, my take is that greg may have had a weird sexual encounter with matsson but tom could never. tom couldn't have casual sex like it would kill him. he can't share greg either especially since he can't admit his own desires to himself, so the threesome is off the table. and if tom knew greg was fucking a man that wasn't tom, he would literally kill greg and then himself
two male characters not getting together isn't always a failure in the writing or queerbaiting or whatever. sometimes it's simply because the two actors actually just want to fuck each other and that bleeds into their onscreen chemistry
we should eradicate the existence of sundays in protest of succession ending. if there's no succession sunday then it's just not worth it
seasons 1 and 2 were peak for tomgreg as a relatively straightforward romance that just also happened to have a psychosexual deeply closeted tangent in the dynamic. s3 was TRUE peak tomgreg as it was intensely unfolding their romance in the context of the general overarching plot of the show. like the planets were fucking aligning. then s4 kinda simultaneously made them too normal and too fucked up at the same time with all the contextually important scenes getting cut bc they weren't relevant to kendall's journey
just another sunday without an episode of succession. a lifetime to go. and i'll never be happy again. thank you jesse armstrong
every day is just another meaningless trudge through existence without tom wambsgans

FALL OF ROME
SUCCESSION — 4.09 “CHURCH AND STATE”
for a character who’s had complexes upon complexes upon complexes about the fragility of his health, who couldn’t bear to let others see himself physically weak in any way… “logan thought he killed his sister by giving her polio” was a real jawdrop reveal tbh
yet another sunday that isn't a succession sunday and they're withholding tom wambsgans from me forever. they're forcing me to live the rest of my life this way. frankly it's evil and criminal and i'll never be happy again
my actual theory is that after season 3 was released, jesse armstrong & co realized that they had made tomgreg a little TOO genuine and that behind their homoerotic power play, there was a strange yet unconditional emotional investment in each other and they had stronger romantic implications than intended that the audience picked up on and so they had to backtrack on that relationship in season 4.
i need all of the succession deleted scenes like the fact that they have so many hours of cut footage is driving me crazy. also i need this tomgreg scene or i'm going to do something drastic
I SCREAMED.. the contrast really makes you think 🤔🧐✍️
absolutely loved how tomgreg's very first interaction of the season is greg sneakily approaching tom from behind and then hurriedly crowding against him with gusto that makes it seem like greg is grinding against tom in the middle of a party. and then later tom tells greg to inform him about his sexual escapades in detail by whispering in his ear at the crowded party. and then they weren't insane like this for the rest of the season. i just have so many questions
4 episodes left and i don't see a way they could fix all the problems i have with the season in that time
zero episodes left and they didn't 🙌🏻 my list of complaints could fill a book and the good s4 that exists only in my head will be my reality forevermore
