that episode where Aki tries to get her d-wheeling license is so sweet BUT it also made me remember that Yusei didn’t have a license when he got arrested… which means that either
- Godwin arranged a license for him before the Fortune Cup
- they made Yusei do a driving test at some point (before the FC? after the Dark Signers arc?)
- Yusei never actually got his license but nobody dares to bring it up
personally I prefer option 3 because it makes the episode so much funnier
