I (Late 20s, M) met my boyfriend/best friend/partner for life (Late 20s, M)’s crush (Early 20s, M) and thought he was very pretty, the pinnacle of beauty, even, and said as much. Me and my bf’s relationship is pretty nebulous and open so I didn’t mind him having a crush and so I thought he’d be fine with me complimenting the guy, but apparently not? Something about me being a “bad influence” or something? Like yea, I ended up introducing the crush to the idea of hedonism and he ended up trying to sell his soul to be pretty forever but, like, that’s besides the point.
The crush also ended up having dinner that day with me instead of my bestie, but like, that was on the crush, not me.
