I DON’T KNOW WHO I’M WRITING THIS FOR BECAUSE I ASSUME EVERYONE ALREADY KNOWS THIS BUT I KEEP WRITING IT IN MY HEAD SO MAYBE IF I WRITE IT DOWN IT’LL LEAVE ME ALONE and I like having it all in one place

Anyway Heavy and Medic are from Team Fortress 2 and they are in love with each other. Why do I think this? Who are they? Let’s assume you don’t really know that much about this game as we go through a big ol list. Evidence, so to speak, for them actually comes from several different sources which is always fun. In this case, we’ll look at gameplay, achievements, items/products and other hints, and their personalities and behavior in things like the comics. Also I like making big old lists, like a big old nerd.

Gameplay

Heavy and Medic are two classes that complement each other really well, and this is frequently mentioned and outright stated in gameplay tips in-game for Heavy (pair up with a Medic, you’re good buddies!). As a result, you’ll often see Medics and Heavies working together. This compatibility is where a lot of the rest of it grows from.

Assuming you don’t know much about TF2, it’s the best a silly, cartoony first-person shooter with nine different classes you can play as, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Different classes work well together and other classes counter each other. Knowing your match-ups and skills and having a well-balanced team are the key to victory! It’s a lot of fun on the right server (although currently right now it’s overrun with bots, hopefully the summer update will help with that) and you can play it for free. |D Also you can get hats its entire economy based on hats

Anyway, Medics in-game are a unique class for a lot of reasons. They’re the only healers and can regen and ubercharge people, and they’re arguably the most important class among the nine. They aren’t entirely defenseless since they have their syringe gun and bonesaw, but mostly that’s to get them out of a pinch or help cover them when they retreat. They aren’t really meant for fighting. Their job is healing, and they need their team’s protection to do that. Your team’s job is to accomplish your objective like capping the point, but also protecting and keeping your Medic alive.
