I’ve been rereading HP with my nieces (their first time reading them), and we recently finished the Yule Ball chapter is GoF, and there’s something bugging me. I don’t know if it’s an old headcanon I’m misremembering, or if it was in the old copies of the books, but I could have sworn there was a bit in the series about using wreathes to ask a person to the Ball?? There’s even a bit with it in the Starkid musical, they used wreathes for it as well, and now I’m just confused bc I can’t find any information to confirm or dispute. Anyone else remember this? Mandela effect? 🤷🏻‍♀️
