All of this recent Jegulus hate is really making me laugh (not the death threats ofc) because people are taking this way too seriously. This is a fandom based on fictional wizards. Wizards. With pointy little magic sticks. And cute little hats.

The original Harry Potter works are a work of fiction. The characters aren’t real. So it’s very hilarious that some people are so pressed about characters that quite literally don’t exist. Most of the characters that people talk about have maybe a paragraph or sometimes only a few sentences written about them in canon. So that means that no one actually knows anything about them, and we can all headcanon whatever we want.

It really doesn’t matter that a stranger on the internet thinks that James Potter (fictional wizard) would kiss Regulus Black (another fictional wizard). It doesn’t matter who people ship with other people. It doesn’t matter how people characterize your favorite or least favorite character.

Because, at the end of the day, the Marauders and co. aren’t real.

This is just my opinion on this, and the only thing I’ll say regarding all the hate because I think it’s ridiculous, and I hate interacting with stupidity. So goodbye, I’ll be giggling over in my little internet corner and liking all the cute Jegulus posts that pop up on my feed.
