The saddest people always try their best to make other people happy. It's because they know what it's like to feel absolutely worthless, and they don't want anybody else to feel that way.
have you ever thought about the fact that what makes you sad now can be something you will be grateful for in the future? that what you grieve about now may lead to something that makes you look back with understanding and the conclusion that it had to happen in order to prepare you for something better.
I respect a person who knows when their energy is off and keeps their distance so they don‘t transfer it onto you. I don‘t think people realize how real that is…

“Soulmates aren’t the ones who make you happiest, no. They’re instead the ones who make you feel the most. Burning edges and scars and stars. Old pangs, captivation, and beauty. Strain and shadows and worry and yearning. Sweetness and madness and dreamlike surrender. They hurl you into the abyss. They taste like hope.”

“A true soulmate is always the toast to your butter & the cream to your coffee that makes it sweeter. A true soulmate is always a friend and a lover someone who reminds you that you always matter. A true soulmate is always your heart’s healer when it feels so hard that a kiss can turn it softer.”
