literally my blog is such a clusterfuck. for the low low price of following me you too can get incessant posting about american rock band my chemical romance, a deep and forever enduring love for doctor julian bashir and star trek in general, classic 70s dramedies about the horrors of war, twenty year old video game megafranchises about friendship and animal fighting, with bonus insights (read: constant complaining) into the life of a daycare worker

also i constantly hit post limit these days. i’m probably here anyways <3

I have truly so many questions about how and when we got from Gerard giving speeches about the metaverse at the MK shows to wearing dresses and singing all the various Eagles lyrics and generally embodying a stage persona in some ways in the US tour....like what was going through their mind! My main conclusion is that they drew that FROM the audience in some capacity or from the tour & their own reaction to it but like...what was the reaction. I want to know sooo bad it's like one of my no1. burning MCR questions

happy pride month to those who are still in the closet due to their households or overall environments. your identity is still valid and i love you.

"But I stay silly :3" has done irreparable damage/good to my brain . i say it to get thru the day everyday . Work is hell but i stay silly . Lifes falling apart but i stay silly . :3

another layer of entertainment added by the fact i didn’t see this until 7:39pm my time

this article hits on some really important points about how fucking ridiculous it can be to get any sort of gender affirming care in my state.  connecticut politicians have gotten too comfortable with their actions being ignored just because it’s a blue state.

i had a consultation for top surgery over a year ago.  i had a letter from my therapist, had been out and living as my gender socially for nearly five years, and was caught completely off guard by, first off, just how little respect the surgeon i had spoken with had for my gender identity i had been living comfortably with again, for five years, just because i am gender non-conforming, but even more so by the fact that one letter was not enough.  even upon getting into contact with a psychiatrist, they still weren’t qualified to write a second letter.

unfortunately in the year since that consultation it has become nearly impossible financially for me to continue looking into top surgery, and the amount of roadblocks connecticut has been allowing to exist has not helped in the slightest.  all this moral panic about trans youth transitioning for what?  trans adults who are in perfectly sound mind to consent to surgery being belittled by the people that are supposed to perform that very surgery on them?  the only people speaking up about this being trans and the therapists who are willing to play their part in helping, often trans themselves???

i’m sick of democrats being comfortable just because their states are the ones generally viewed as reasonable, all while not making the slightest move in support of trans people out of fear of losing support from terfs.  do fucking better, connecticut.

This is not an American/non-American thing

This is a CLASS thing

When I (American) went to college (expensive private school on scholarships) (almost everyone there upper middle class or upper class) I and one of my friends (average) incited anger and rejection for asking to ‘tag along’ to the grocery store

They saw it as selfishly asking a favor and were shocked, just like the OOP’s friend, whereas we saw it as a normal and sensible thing to do.

why is “leave my chin hair alone” a sentence i’ve had to utter twice now to a grown adult and its not even 8:30 yet

Shoutout to people who can’t stand loud noise because of anxiety or sensory issues or chronic migraines and have to deal with people being unnecessarily loud all the time but can’t do or say anything about it because that’s “rude” and “ruining everyone’s good time”
