When Dorian calls the inquisitor his best friend I always cry. I’m just so happy when he calls inquisitor that. I don’t know why, but his friendship with me always impacts me harder than his romance.
Cause friendship is more important. I don't even think you can have a good romantic relationship with there being a friendship within it too.

Confession: A dwarven Inquisitor is NOT too ugly to romance Dorian. Neither is a Qunari. Humans aren’t inherently boring. Repeatedly shitting on my dwarves/humans/qunari is not going to make me more likely to roll an elf. Stop it. Just stop. Mind your own business. Play your own game. I didn’t mind the hole in the castle. As a history major I learned that castles were always in a constant state of disrepair and there were workers constantly trying to keep everything from falling apart.
Certain rooms were maintained better to have a presence but the assumption of castles being 100% flawless is just wrong.
So because of what I learned I’m not going to nitpick about it and I still like Skyhold 100 times more than Hawke’s HALF of a mansion in DA2.
Also glitches in games give the game flavor. I hate when uneccessary patches are made to video games. Going into the "Zero Space" is so much fun. Especially in Halo 2.

I really don’t get why we had Varric as a companion twice. When it first was announced, I figured Bioware was relenting and letting people romance him. That was really the only excuse I could think of. But instead he’s just there again. Just there. There’s Varric. Again. Okay? I guess.

As a Lesbian I really resent the fact that I am not allowed to enjoy the Sera romance by some of the louder members on my side of the fandom. So I am confessing this here…I love her. Do I think she’s perfect? No. But I found her romance sweet and fun. Its bad enough to have to deal with the homophobia in the fandom but I’m finding some members on my side to be just as (and I am putting this mildly) GRATING on the nerves. And now that I have time…I’m going to try Josephine’s too since people rage on her. Im sorry but I did not get the memo that states as Lesbians…we’re all supposed to be part of this hive mentality where we have to agree on everything.

I think she’s a rude bitch and her only"redeeming" quality is that she cares for people and manages to keep her magic phobia in check. But you should be able to enjoy her if you want despite other fandom opinion. And I haven’t personally come across the homophobes in this fandom thankfully. Makes little since that homophobes would bother with either Dragon Age or Mass Effect given the romance and character diversities so I gues I’m lucky in that respect.

Um…no. BiSEXUAL. Gender it’s a social construct and can be whatever you want it to be and it’s neither right now wrong it’s just what you identify as. Sex is what you are genetically and have no control over. Which I find unfortunate for trans gender people cause it’d be pretty cool if they had the choice to change to the opposite sex completely but Unfortunatly science ain’t quite there yet.

I am pro-Chantry, pro-templar, and pro-circle. I believe that mages shouldn’t suffer abuse and that Templars that abuse their position need to be dealt with. But it’s safer for the average, non-magical user for mages to be in one spot. If I mention this most people, I’m told that I support abuse and torture.
The Templar Order should become neutral in political and religious affairs and be made an option for Mages. The Order should be heavily monitored by EVERYONE and be treated as a security system for Mage schools that are not mandated but a choice. Templars should sit on the sidelines until a Mage becomes a literal threat and not just a potential one. Mages shpuld be allowed to live a normal life with the Templars being someone they can run to for help rather than fear. Sure you'd have some bad eggs but those eggs would stand less of a chance of harming innocent people if Templars and Mages are united in stopping the bad ones. And personally I think becoming tranquil should be only done by request of the individual and never forced.
Confession: Sera’s sexuality as WLW doesn’t get nearly enough recognition compared to her MLM counterpart, Dorian. Dorian always gets lauded as Bioware’s Gay Icon™ but Sera is also gay and is not considered nearly as “groundbreaking” even though they were debuted in the same game! It just furthers how MLM is very fetishised in fandom (which is a problem in itself) but WLW is seen as inferior or just… not worth noting to begin with. A footnote. In its own way, it’s really damaging to the LGBTQ+ community.
OR..Sera is a rude bitch with a terrible personality outside of helping the"little" people. I'd wager that's why she isn't liked and not for the reason you think. I fucking love the idea of lesbianism sexually and recognise homosexuals as people cause they fucking ARE. However Sera is a turnoff sexually and personality wise forme and most people I know.

I have always had a preference for City Elves since Dragon Age Origins. And I have ALWAYS been put down for it. I do not hate the Dalish but I just relate far more to the City Elves. I have been labeled a racist and a traitor for it. I always shake my head in disbelief when being called a racist because I’m not even white. And yes there are truly some horrible racist people in the fandom but labeling someone a racist because they prefer a different race is ridiculous. With the exception of my close friends…I keep my mouth shut now because the retribution would be too much. I also resent how the City Elves were treated in DA2. And now I occasionally see racist posts toward City Elves from some of the Dalish fans as well as posts saying the Dalish will save the City Elves and should go back to being Dalish. Perhaps some city elves have no interested in being assimilated back to the Dalish? That said…I do know not all Dalish/Lavellan fans are like that but the vocal minority have occasionally made this fandom a very unpleasant place to participate in. And lastly….I really hope we can be city elves again and I am grateful there is a long break between games.
