It goes way beyond this metaphor, though. It's not just that people want women leaders but not conservatism, the same way they want ice cream but not poison. It's also very much about why we want women leaders in the first place—that women have traditionally been subjugated and disempowered by the political system, that we've had our rights taken away from us over and over again—and that it's specifically conservatives and people who capitulate to conservatives who do this.
To be a conservative woman, frankly, makes zero fucking sense. You are aligning yourselves with a party whose undisguised stated objective is to strip you of your rights, a party that wants to impose a fundamentalist oppressive religious conception of women and their role in society upon you. And you think we'd want to give you the power to help them do it? You think we want to watch them trot you out as an example of A Woman Who Gets It and proof that we're all just a bunch of troublemaking jezebels who should fall in line? No. We want an antidote to all that. You're just more of the poison.
"make her moan"
"make her squeal"
"make her scream"
No.
Make her bark.
Make her heel.
Make her sit.
Good girl~ 💛
consider this: wheelchairs should be free
Consider this: if you need it to live it should be affordable
consider this: if you need it to live, it should be free
You don't need someone who "doesn't mind that you're fat". You need someone who LOVES your body. Worships it. Adores it. Not someone who is just ok with it. It makes all the difference.
