Yeah sure. I get the joke. And yeah sure, people should be open for what they want. You know what's NOT helping? Playing into the stereotype that the sandwich is gay. Our sense of self worth. Because AS straight cis men we have nothing. We have no "privilege" to hide behind. We have no "marches" celebrating how important it is to be us. No. We are the go to enemy of every single other group out there. We are the reason women say they don't feel safe outside anymore. We are the reason gays or trans stay silent or suffer. We are the ones you point to for every source of hatred and violence you have experienced. Whether it be family, friends or random strangers. And we can't say a fucking thing because we are the cis straight men.

So yes. We will say our super weird order is for someone else. And yes we will feel ashamed for ordering it and having to hide it. Because it's all you fucks who have "claimed" everything else as yours that our only identity is to be strong silent and hated. And you'd go on with your story about how you never fit in and that people were always forcing you to be what you weren't or making jokes that really hurt. And so that whenever someone does that now it brings up trauma.

But oh no it's perfectly okay when you do it. When you laugh at others for doing something "not straight." Newsflash, yes I CAN like brightly coloured girl shows and still be a straight man. It makes me neuro divergent, not gay. And yet WE are the ones making everything about sexuality or gender? Well maybe we were, guess what, we suffer from that too.
