You must learn to call on the Lord. Don’t sit all alone or lie on the couch, shaking your head and letting your thoughts torture you. Don’t worry about how to get out of your situation or brood about your terrible life, how miserable you feel, and what a bad person you are. Instead, say, “Get a grip on yourself, you lazy bum! Fall on your knees, and raise your hands and eyes toward heaven. Read a psalm. Say the Lord’s Prayer, and tearfully tell God what you need.

every time you assume that others are thinking negatively of you or judging you behind your back, you are bullying yourself through them. at the end of the day, you don't know what thoughts are running through their heads unless they verbally express them to you. until then, every one of 'their' opinions about you is nothing more than your fear, and whatever assumption is born from your fear is yours to let go - not theirs to disprove.

I love people who teach me something new. Expand my mind. Talk to me about the universe. Share your dreams with me. Take me on a mental trip.

Habits you can start practicing today if you are on your self love journey 💞🩰🤍🕯️☁️

When doing these things, pay attention and think on purpose about how you feel, what you do, and what makes you happy. It's about taking care of yourself and making good choices to feel better. You are retraining your mind to make positive feelings and actions become the new normal and replacing the negative things it feels safe and accustomed to doing now.

Say thank you for good things each day.

Move your body to feel better.

Sit quietly to think about yourself.

Journal about your thoughts.

Draw, write, or play music for fun and dance around.

Take care of yourself like you would someone you love.

Be with nice people who make you happy.

Do hobbies that make you happy.

Learn something new you like.

Be nice to yourself and tell yourself nice things, not mean.

Make small goals that matter to you and finish them.

Help others or volunteer sometimes.

Say nice things about yourself daily.

Sleep well and rest.

Be outside in nature.

Read books, watch videos or listen to podcasts that help you grow.

Think about how you're changing.

Don't compare to others too much.

Spend time alone to know yourself better.

Smile at yourself in the mirror.

Eat foods that make you feel good.

Wear clothes you like and feel comfortable and confident in.

Take breaks when you need to rest.

Try something new, even if it's small.

Do one thing different from your routine every day.

Take a deep breath when you're stressed and count to 10.

Look at old photos and remember good times.

Spend time with pets if you have them—they're great companions that show you unrequited love.
