My dad is a chiropractor and I noticed that he has quite a few transgender patients that come to his practice. I asked him about it as he had to tell me which people prefer which pronouns when I was filling in for his receptionist. He said that he was apparently one of the only chiropractors in the Philadelphia area who respects pronouns and genuinely cares about the comfort of his trans patients. In turn, his patients started referring their friends who are also trans to his practice. I thought this was really beautiful and worth sharing. There was one story in particular that struck me but I’m not at liberty to say. Just remember, if your medical professionals don’t respect you, leave. There is always a doctor who will. If you live in the Philly area and need to find a chiropractor who is respectful of your gender identity, pm me and I’ll refer you on. I’m honestly so happy that my dad has garnered such a safe environment for his LGBT patients. 🏳️🌈 👨🏻⚕️

my father told me once to never date anyone who talks smoothly around you from the start because if someone likes you they should be a little nervous and honestly i think that’s some of the best advice anyone has ever given me
i told my dad about this text post and he got so excited he teared up and then he said he felt like he just adopted forty thousand new children to share his wisdom with and he hopes all of you meet kind, sweet people he would be proud of
I want you to think about me at night, when you can’t sleep and you look outside and see the stars. And think about the times we used to look at the night sky. I want you to remember all the fun we had. And then I want you to go to sleep knowing that somewhere in the world I can’t sleep either because I’m thinking too.
not to be corny but if u get to see the person u love everyday i hope ur not taking it for granted
I’m constantly torn between “if it’s meant to be, it will be” and “if you want it, go and get it.”
If you want to know if someone cares for you, pay attention to their actions, not their words. They can whisper all the sweet nothings in the world, but actions will reveal their true colors.
Is it just me or are girls with a messy bun so fucking attractive
