These two again. Odin and Oli. Odin greeted me today by climbing right up onto my face and cozying in on my nose, and Oli wrapped things up with the gift of a handful of rat raisins. Perfect little monsters.

Now that I’ve gotten some time to myself, I took Isaac out to take some fancy photos of him, since Ezekiel and Balthazar had their little photo-shoot but Isaac hadn’t yet!

So here is just one of the many adorable photos I got of him. :) Isaac is my top-eared baby rat.

RATS.  IF YOU ARE CREEPED OUT BY RATS, IT’S BECAUSE YOU HAVEN’T SPENT ENOUGH TIME AROUND RATS.  THEY ARE SUPER SMART AND TRAINABLE.  THEY REQUIRE PLAYTIME, SO THEY ARE BASICALLY A THERAPY TOOL FOR STRESSED OUT PEOPLE ONLY THEY WILL LOVE YOU MORE THAN YOUR CAT LOVES YOU.

IN THE TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, SPLINTER THE RAT LEARNS MARTIAL ARTS FROM HIS OWNER AND BASICALLY BECOMES A DOJO MASTER.

Babies eyes are all open and they’re running around! They’re starting to taste mom’s food, too.
