OMG you can’t get to peoples blogs from messages anymore. This is horribly non-functional. WTF.

Tumblr really seems to like making it a giant pain to use how it’s users choose to engage. So many good things about tumblr but it is as if they purposely try to not make it too good. Weird.

I'm confused. I can click on people's names to be taken to their blogs in the new chat? And someone who is always sending me posts, where historically they would always be "something weird happen" broken links, all the links work now? What is happening? Everything seems better from my end???

I can only from the top on the conversation. Unless conversation just started.. that effectively means I can’t.

doesn't work on mobile. there just isn't any way to get directly to their blog. i had to type a mutual's name into the search the other day!

It seems like they only pushed this change for iPhone users and I’m talking about specifically in the app. Only time I wish I had an android phone 😭😭 I also had to search and IT IS THE WORST! Used to be so easy!

nope! i'm android, and i got the same. apparently it's just like... randomized. introducing it to some people and not all. hopefully so they can get feedback and decide whether to implement it fully or not. (I really hope they don't)

I want to opt out! I hate it! This is miserable! There should be a revert back option instead of punishing us.
