Omar Villanueva holds a Master's degree in Classical Guitar Performance from the University of New Mexico. A multifaceted guitarist, Omar performs classical, Spanish and popular music from Latin-America ranging from the renaissance, baroque, classical, romantic, to pop & Latin music arrangements for solo guitar.

Aspen CRM Solutions recently completed archaeological surveys of the monument units surrounding the Tompiro pueblo of Abó and the Tiwa pueblo of Quaraí at Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument near Mountainair, New Mexico, both of which contain the remains of a large pueblo and a Spanish Colonial mission.

SILENT AUCTION Art donations (paintings, photos, ceramics, wood carvings, jewelry, etc.) for Silent Auction will be accepted by Cibola Arts Gallery until July 1st.

TICKET SALES $10/ticket or $30/ family ticket (2 adults & 4 children)

Ticket Price includes one raffle ticket with multiple drawings throughout the night to win prizes from businesses around the community. Talent show participants receive one free ticket for a guest.

All proceeds from this Art Silent Auction and Talent Show will benefit the Cibola Arts Gallery and the Manzano Mountain Arts Council.

You are invited to submit your ART for inclusion in MMAC's next Art Exhibit: "WHIMSICAL REALITIES AND DREAMS" ~ ethereal, anime, otherworldly and magical representations.

Sculpture, paintings, photographs - any medium. Also requesting whimsical poems and writings (must be mounted or framed); and dreamy original music (original recorded music will be played during the run of the show).

Inaugural Organ Recital & Fundraiser for our local Independent Mountainair Pharmacy: Mountainair Meds & More

James Albert Yeager, Organist

James moved to New Mexico in 2009. He has performed regularly as conductor, organist, harpsichordist, and choral accompanist. He is Professor of Sacred Music (emeritus) and taught at the Josephinum College in Columbus, Ohio (1984-2009). In addition to his formal education (Doctor of Musical Arts, Univ. Colorado, Boulder), James studied organ improvisation in Paris with Dr. Naji Hakim for six months at grand organ of the Eglise de la Sainte Trinité.

The program lasting about one hour is free and open to the public. A contribution box will be available for donations to the Meds & More Pharmacy Fund.

Program includes the following music:

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Adagio & Rondo K.617, for Organ & Strings

Daniel Pinkham Sonata 1 for Organ & Strings,

George Friedrich Handel, Organ Concerto in G Op. 4 n.1 HWV 289. for Organ & Strings

Plus solo organ works by François Couperin, Dietrich Buxtehude, Johann Sebastian Bach.

The Kilgen Petite Ensemble Organ was rescued from Kansas (1976), via Colorado, and is now at MMAC.
