3 Big IndieGoGo Updates!

1. Mars goes in for surgery tomorrow! She’s going to get all her teeth pulled, and also a lump (which we hope is just a cyst @ m @;;) removed from her chest. The vet has been nice enough to only charge for the removal of the lump, not the diagnosis if it seems to be something more than a cyst! We were only able to get her into surgery so soon because of all the contributions to our IndieGoGo, so we’re extraordinarily grateful! The vet will be putting us on a payment plan so long as we can pay for the first half right away, which we now can! I will be adding updates as she recovers.

2. Shy’s medical updates. My gallbladder is malfunctioning, so surgery is inevitable. Now it’s just trying to figure out how soon that might be. Apparently, we caught it in the early stages (not that it’s felt like “early stages”, thought I was dying @ n @), so I’m seeing a specialist to try and decide when to go through with removal. Also, I’ve been diagnosed with hypothyroidism. This explains a lot of problems I’ve had throughout my life, so it’s a relief to have the some answers (and meds!!). Now it’s just up to meds and saving up for surgery!

3. The roof is finally scheduled to be fixed! We wouldn’t have been able to manage the downpayment for the work if not for the campaign, and without the downpayment we couldn’t have scheduled the repairs. This upcoming monday, the roof will finally be repaired!

Mars is home and seems happier already (or maybe just doped up...)! Her teeth really must have been bothering her, poor baby. The surgery went perfectly, and they've sent the cyst off for testing. She's been sleeping on my desk all night ahhhh bb Marzipan <3

I decided to combine my intense feelings for Monster Hunter Ultimate’s monster icons and the amazing designs of  Puella Magi Madoka witches into a series of collectable stickers for the magic girls among us > v > think of them as merit badges? So, uh, it’s been a pretty crazy year. A lot of stress, a lot of crazy what-the-fuck-is-adult-life stuff.

The last 3 weeks have been particularly insane (and costly…). I’ve been in hospital twice for chest pain & tightness, light-headedness, nausea, then severe stomach & gut pain. Highlights include getting to see the veins in my arm via ultrasound, goofy nurse man making it look like my bee was holding the IV and drinking my blood, and a neato IV bruise because goofy nurse man stuck me 45987 times. They seem to have narrowed it down to my gallbladder, but I’ve got to go in for a HIDA scan to confirm it. The hospital was supposed to call to set up an appointment with me this week, but;

My phone bricked.  . ____ . I’ve been having a lot of problems since I updated to 7.1.1; quite a few 4/4s users have, and it finally fried my mobile Monday. So I’ve had to steal Coey’s for the last few days, because;

3 large limbs of our tree snapped off in a storm Monday night and landed on the backside of our house, ripping the powerlines off and knocking the gutter off the eave. There doesn’t seem to be any structural damage to the house (which I’m eternally grateful for), though the tree cleanup itself is a big chunk out of our budget.

Customer service for our Etsy/Storenvy/KickStarters has really tanked for a few weeks thanks to all this, so I apologise for all the delay in message responses and even shipping orders. I’m hoping things will calm down more (please oh please).

Hospital bills are starting to come in, along with the tree removal fees and having to OUTRIGHT BUY A NEW PHONE THANKS iOS 7.1.1 YOU PIECE OF SHIT. I’m going to hide under my desk away from the bill pile now.

Update on my lack of response/customer service. i'll try to get back into the swing of things!
