Fall. August has definitely arrived now (picture from small park, near our home.
Couple...
I play Indoor Carpet Bowls, before the normal roll up I took some photos over looking Cardington Hangers (in the background)
They must be a good six miles away, it's only a guess.
Balloons
Three came flying over a few weeks ago, they came so low I thought they where trying to crash land into a local playground after vanishing behind houses. About three minutes they where climbing above the roofline.
It's nice to see them again, they haven't been about for years.
The youngest came running in from the back Garden carrying two daisies. He proceeds in giving one to his sister then one to me
Ho cute and thoughtful.
Garden...
I've just moved some plant's to the front garden, hopefully it don't look so bare.
I'll water them tonight when it's not so hot (it's going to be quite warm today) we had thunder last night and quite heavy rain, we needed it we've had none for over five weeks. It's brought the grass back to life but we still have a water ban so I'm watering by hand.
I've got the back garden to tidy up, (going to start in the week) I haven't touched the back for age's. The kid's play in it and apart from putting there toys away I haven't done too much.
Hanging Baskets...
I need to replace the plants in the hanging baskets, they definitely have seen their day. I'll have to take a trip to the garden centre to see what's on offer.
Duxford...
Took these photos about nine years ago, I'm just going through some of my old pictures.
Photography...
Photo's I've took in the early day's of taking Photo's. I just love photography it's a fantastic hobby.
Country Indoor Carpet Bowls...
I've been playing for the County for over six years, loving the thrill of the competitions.
(Can't wait to restart when everything goes back to some sort of normality).
Naibour hood...
I seriously hope no one recognises anyone in these photographs I'm posting, but she was being very cheeky. I was sitting out the front when she got the mower out and had a lovely surprise and a wonderful view.
Indoor Carpet Bowls...
It's not to physical but contains accuracy and control to draw the woods in. I've been playing for about eight years, and enjoy the game. I know it's not everyone's sport but I'd recommend anyone to give it a go.
A big celebration... it was a shame I could only share it with the four of us (first lock-down).
(Late posting)
In Bloom...
It was a few years ago between the covid lock-down's but I was so pleased in how the garden looked (don't suppose it'll look this good again).
Logo Design
I created this logo for our bowls club in Cotton End, unfortunately because someone's being an ass I didn't submit it to the club... oh well shame.
I did it for free and spent about five hours over a few days making it perfect (between other activities).
Short Mat Bowls...
New hobby, I've been only doing this for a few months (I've played Indoor Carpet Bowls for years, but short mat playes completely different). The principle is simular but a much harder game to master.
Couple...
Photographs taken from Coupl Village Hall looking out towards Cardington Hangers.
