This is a gift to a friend I drew over the last few days. He's a Pokémon and Magic the Gathering fan. I wanted to do something special for him and this is what I came up with.

This is my 1st attempt ever at drawing a Pokémon. Not only that is was also my 1st go at recreating on a tiny scale Magic The Gathering cards. Cause of the small scaleof the cards I'm aware they aren't exact but they are a close enough approximation to tell what the are from a distance, or so I think anyway.

Any hoo, I present to you Chespin.

Myself and a couple of my friends wanted to redesign Kwannon from Marvel comics. Since her reintroduction and Betsy Braddock having been returned to her caucasian body, Kwannon has taken over the mantle of Psylocke, kept Betsy's old outfit and adopted her butterfly effect that had been around before Kwannon even crossed paths with Betsy.

We felt that if the intent was to make the then Psylocke, now Captain Britain and Kwannon separate independent characters. That Kwannon deserved to have her own identity and style.

So we each took a go at creating a new design for her. This was my attempt.

P.s I suck at hands I know. Even with a reference picture lol. I've included some of the progress pics. I hope you all enjoy.

Short comic, while I work on something bigger on the side. It is nevertheless a very important topic. A lot of seabirds die because they eat plastic. They feed their chicks with the waste. It’s really tragic.

Finally finished my redesign of my character Agreus.

This is Agreus Bloodgood, a character from a group of characters who I created and periodically and unsuccessfully write stories about from time to time.

I included the process from doodle to finished picture. The doodle features his old outfit or a very scaled back low rendering of it at least.

Picture I drew of @gaycomicgeek for his birthday.
Wanted to draw it with his tongue sticking out but couldnt get it to look right. Might revisit at some point. Still pretty happy with how it turned out.

The Quiet Council, the Loud Captains, probably.

I’m sticking with the theory that each of the captains is there for a specific area of expertise, and Illyana is on magical defense. And possibly there for the Limbo/Krakoa connection, if that bears out.

And hey, Doug!

So I've been working on drawing up an X-men team. Here's 3 I've completed so far.

Dazzler, Iceman and Pyro (Simon Lasker).

With Dazzler I wanted her to have a bit of a fashion vibe to her. But still double as a costume.

The off the shoulder top is meant as a throw back to her outback days while the disco ball necklace to her early roots and her disco outfit.

For Iceman, I really loved his solo book outfit and wanted to make some synergy between his and Pyro's costumes in terms of design but switching up his color palette.

I wanted to make his pose a little more dynamic than Pyro's and Dazzler's and there is an image of the teen iceman with his older counterpart that I really liked the pose of ( incase anyone recognises it).

For Pyro, I wanted his outfit to echo his recent X-Men Gold outfit but also Iceman's recent red and black suit from his solo book.

I noticed Pyro had an X symbol above his groin where Bobby has one above his chest.

Which oddly was what gave me the idea of making there costumes almost opposing color mirrors of each other.

This came team came about after a friend of mine Loz Cook, who's son has started an X-Men podcast with his dad. I posed him the question of creating a team of his own making. He came up with the theme of an elemental focused team. Inspired by this idea I thought I'd try my own hand at it.

There are 2 other members to this team that I will draw in time.

Hey - please folks. If you take a shirt from a pile, re-folding will go a long way to making those clothing dept. employees happy and their jobs just a little easier.

Ahhh thank you for this! Sometimes if I’m bored and waiting for someone else to finish shopping (I know what I like and usually finish quite quickly) I just refold shirts that other customers have left in a mess. Now I can do it properly.

Retail employee here. Even if you don’t do it perfectly, we appreciate that you attempted to do it as opposed to just throwing it in the pile and leaving it.

Essay time y’all – cause these tags are truth.  But one of my FAVORITE (and by favorite I mean the reason so many of his pictures fucking enthrall me) things about the way either he poses or the photographers pose him is that that the default for him doesn’t tend to be the WALL OF MAN imposing/daring someone to fuck with him poses that most photographers position men in, especially men who play superheroes.  Far more often you see him posed as photographers often pose women – S-curves (trace a line from shoulders to hips to waist to knees in that pic - it’s a feminine way to pose), shoulders slightly hunched forward, looking at the camera through his eyelashes, mouth slightly open.  They pose him to invite the viewer in instead of projecting out.  The way they pose him is a type of masculinity that isn’t trying so fucking hard and y’all my LOINS ARE HERE FOR IT.

When I try to describe the type of masculinity that I find fucking appealing, it’s this.

(Look… y’all… if you haven’t seen his truckstop hooker photos from way back, do your loins a favor and find them)
