oh yeah i agree with this too, its just sometimes if you even bring ANYTHING up about mental health people accuse you of doing it for attention because of how badly its stigmatized? thats the case sort im meaning

I mean honestly we should be past the point where we think of mental health as anything that… different, considering all the people who have it? I mean I don’t talk about my mental health issues that much but I’m more private in that regard. Personally I just see it as having a cold, if that makes sense? Nothing you can control so yes you should be able to talk about it in public without people acting like dumbasses. (oops I just used an ~~~slur~~~)

Oh no, I agree. I worry often about how the issues I’m dealing with impact my friends and family. But I’m specifically referencing a situation wherein someone was getting anon hate for getting help from friends to manage their many and serious mental health issues. Like really it’s up to A the person in question and B the people in their lives to decide if it’s okay or not, not some asshole on the internet who’s read a few tumblr posts
