Hmm Well, if you cant find the instructions for the pre-made skillet one, I can get you a recipe for cookies from scratch! Its not too hard to make them, though it does call for several things.

Yeah, my mom makes cookies ALL the time, the main problem is though is knowing how much dough and all the measurements to make the equivalent of the mix it comes with. I’m sure with a few trials it will be alright though

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH DRESS SHOPPING I LOVE DRESSES *u*

omg i’m kind of excited! idk i like trying on dresses because it’s always super fun doing that c:

pssssssst! i need your opinion. o: what order should i watch all the nge stuff out there? i have the box set for... i guess what is just the first neon genesis evangelion? but is there a remake? and several movies... i have no idea what to watch first. xD

You’ll want to start with the original anime from the mid-90’s. It’s 26 episodes long, though the last two episodes aren’t widely regarded as the real end to the series. For that, you’ll wanna look at the movie, End of Evangelion. (There was another movie before that, Death and Rebirth, but it’s basically a recap of the anime and the first half of End of Evangelion.)

Once you do those, there’s the Rebuild of Evangelion series. Right now it’s composed of three films with a fourth one in production: You Are (Not) Alone, You Can (Not) Advance, and You Can (Not) Redo. The first two are available dubbed in English from FUNimation, though a lot of characters have been recasted. The third one is still Japan only and hasn’t made it’s DVD release yet, though it’s been scheduled for later this month.

There’s also several games that act as supplements (depending on who you ask) to the various storylines in the Evangelion universe, some of which the creator, Hideaki Anno, had a hand in making. I’ve personally never played any of the games as I feel the experience is complete with the anime and films.

Happy watching!  ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

A hand to hold!

Hey! I’m Kat. I’m twenty, and I’ve had days when I really just needed someone. Anyone. I just needed to talk, and for another person to just listen to my thoughts and not say anything. Or even help me, if they could. And if there was something like this available for me, I would’ve taken it in a heartbeat.

So that’s why I’m here now! We all have our up days and down days - some more than others. But if you ever need a hand to hold, a shoulder to cry on, or a friend, I will be here for you. <3 Feel free to send me a message anytime - my ask is enabled 24 / 7. If you’re anonymous, I’ll help as much as I can, but if you go un-anon, we can trade messengers, so that I can be around if you need me again. I never judge people, and I am always trying to give advice if I can. So please, don’t hesitate to contact me!

<3 Kat

kat is a really lovely person and you should definitely take her up on that offer! Another wonderful person you can talk to in your time of frustration or need!

Naka Swag

So, I won’t go into the clusterfuck that was Naka-Kon, but this fabulous lady got me some awesome coinage to add to my collection.  :3

So, L-R, T-B:
Tresors de France/Memorial de Caen commemorative coin (2008), fake Renn Faire coin (still cool, though), 1 Peso from Mexico (2005)

10 Peso (Mexico, 1998), two more fake Renn Faire coins

5 pence (UK, 2005), 1 Peseta (Spain, 1966), 50 Pfennig (Germany, 1950)

20 pence (UK, 1999), 20 Centimes (France, 1981), 5 pesos (Mexico, 2004)

And the two super shiny ones at the bottom?  Those are the commemorative “Faction” coins for Tomo and Byakko from the mascot battle at Naka-Kon this year (I have about six for Tomo, whoops).

And the other sides!  :D

Some of these, I’m not sure if they were ACTUALLY part of the new ones, but they didn’t seem familiar, so I put up photos.  e_e  I also got a bunch of arcade tokens lol

How long did it take you to come up with the style you use in Ignition Zero? o: It's gorgeous. Did you go through a lot of different styles before deciding on it? And what's your favorite part about that style? :3

…WOW, Tumblr, thanks for telling me this question was in my inbox! Because you totally didn’t! Sorry if this has been sitting around for a while!

It definitely took me a while to come up with the style for Ignition Zero. If you go back through the first two chapters, you’ll notice some distinct differences and experimentation that go on through the beginning of Chapter Three, which is where things started to solidify.

I started out with a kind of cartoony way of drawing people I’d been doodling with for a while, out of the interest of speed, but it really wasn’t until Chapter Three that I felt satisfied with it. Mostly I just played around with it as I drew, trying things until they felt right, as they do now.

I struggled a LOT with whether to use ink outlines or not—pen outlines tend to take away a lot of character from my original lines, and brush lining is difficult…but that’s what I do now. For a while I used pens for backgrounds and a size 00 brush for characters, but recently I’ve settled with using a size 000 brush (Windsor & Newton Series 7, super expensive, super worth it) for all of the lines except the panel borders and speech bubbles, and it’s great!

I also struggled with the coloring a bit, whether to shade things, how “clean” to make it versus how “painterly,” and for a while I got obsessed with making it look as much like CLEAN digital art as possible, because I was worried that digital comics looked “better” in that regard. Then I realized it was silly and have been utilizing the things that are unique to watercolor & inks used like watercolor—mainly textures.

My favorite part about the style though, is the color sets/schemes that I’ve fallen into. It’s easier to see with the pages all lined up together, but each scene or parts of scenes have specific color schemes to them—a limited palette, rather than using the whole spectrum. For example, the current scene is decidedly red/blue/warm tan colors. Color is an absolutely integral part of my art style in general and I’m super pleased that it’s seeped into the comic this way. While I am very well versed in color theory, it’s also an instinctual thing, and I hope it continues to be.

Thank you for the question! It’s a good one :D
