Good investment choices: This budgeting Application

Guys. Guys. I don’t usually advertise products or something, but holy shit this app, guys.

I’m someone that’s always kind of spacey and have trouble following anything in life that doesn’t have to do with storylines or comic books. I survived thus far by hardly ever spending money except now and then, but otherwise forgoing a lot of opportunities for fear of spending too much. I tried to do my own finances and everything, but every time I would just lose track and be back at square one.

So one day I decided ‘screw that I’m sure there’s a budgeting application somewhere’. And there is! And it’s fantastic.

Seriously. For someone spaced-out and mathematically inept as me, this is a life saver. It’s called You Need A Budget and it’s found here. www.youneedabudget.com

You can try out the full program for a month to see if it works for you. Give it a shot, there’s no loss at all if you don’t like it.

But if you do, and you’re like me, holy crap it changes everything. You got diagrams and the program is intuitive enough via trial and error. The interface is friendly and it’s all super cool. Give it a shot!

The 60$ you spend on this thing will come back to you by the savings you’ll make, I promise.

My favorite budgeting software, You Need A Budget, is on sale for $20.40 on Steam right now for the next hour. I paid $60 for this piece of awesome, you can get it for 66% off! (International folks can and do use it too, btw)

Guilt?

Ifeel like a bad mom today. Im not feeling 100% an im getting frustrated at Ian for no reason. Though I think he’s feeling more whiney, because its only 1130 an I had to put him down for a nap. He fell asleep after 10 minutes, so I know hes tired. So maybe its both of us

Any other single moms/dads get this way?

I try an be a good mom, but I just feel like im not a good “before they start talking” mom. Maybe its just an off day, I did start it in my usual klutsy way. I missed the last step on my stairs, while holding ian, and slammed my good knee (I broke my left on a few years back) on the tile floor. I think its just today…

On to a subject everyone loves but hates talkig about, money!!!!!

So ever since I started tracking my spending and budgeting for everything, with a wonderful program called You Need A Budget, I noticed I spend a lot of money. Now I always have money to pay my bills on time, im never late on paying them thank god, but I dont have any money saved up. Now Ian has a savings, im not that horrid at money, but I spent a lot in the last three months on crap I dont need.

So starting April im gonna make sure I leave at least 300$ in my checking account at all times. I have to start cutting back on my spending on clothes, and make sure that I dont over spend. I make enough money that I sould have plenty saved up.

I’ve been spendig money on ebay, and though its cheaper then the stores, I dont need to buy more stuff. I need to stick to my budget and thats it. Easier said then done, I know.

But its worth a shot! I cant expect to stick to it, but try and bring the amount down a little each month.

:)
