Weigh In Week 53: Year 2 Begins With A Loss
SW: 354.6
Week 52: 266
CW: 265
Weekly Change: -1 lb
Total Loss: -89.6 lbs
I couldn’t be happier this week. I had my 1 year anniversary, ran a 5K, signed up for my first half-marathon, joined a gym, AND lost a pound! Best pound ever!
After two weeks of gains I really needed to see a loss on the scale this week. As the first weigh-in of year 2 it was important to set that precedent. Also, I’m really glad to see 265 again. That means that with a loss of 0.4 more I’ll be back to being 10 lbs away from 100. 100 lbs lost is a goal I plan on hitting soon. This hovering in the 260’s is going to end, that’s a promise.

Love
Drew and I will have been dating for three months on the 19th and I’m very happy with him he feels the same way. We’re actually going to be living together the rest of the year because I need to escape my evil roommate. I don’t know what the legal ramifications are of leaving but right now I don’t really care, there’s no way I could continue to live with her. Anyway, Drew and I have been talking about the possibility of a threesome in the future. No real prospects lined up and there doesn’t really need to be. I’m happy that he is open to the idea but I don’t really think we’ll ever do a threesome. It’s fun to think about though :P We’ve started using “Love” in private without over-using it. It probably is still too early to be using that word but we both feel ready to use it and it’s not like we’re making those annoying statuses on facebook or something.
Social
Well I’ve mostly been hanging out with Drew on the weekends but I always got to see Sammi in Chemistry and on weekends/during the week when we did post-labs and studied. By doing that, I also got to see Sarena, Sonia, and Lindsey. They’re always fun to hangout with. I also saw Natalie every Calculus class so I could keep in touch with her (we had our first Calculus class together in winter 2010). I also saw Maddy in Calculus too; She’s really sweet. I should put more effort into hanging out with her. I also saw Brady every Calculus class too. God, I need to keep in touch with friends. I’ve also made pretty good friends with Myriah and Joseph (my new apartment-mates whom also live with Drew). I’m happy I got to know them and I’m excited to live with them and Drew.
Academics
I did pretty well this quarter. I got a B+ in Chemistry and finally finished general chemistry. I also got a B+ in my Word Roots Class but I wish the professor would have raised my grade by the 0.6% needed to get an A- in the class. And I continued to kick ass in Italian and got an A. Oh yeah, and I passed Calculus finishing Mathematics (except for Statistics) forever.
On a side note, this day last year is when I passed my Eagle Board of Review and I officially became an Eagle scout.
