You never really realize how deep cartoons are til you watch them when you're older

Just watched the episode of XMen the Animated Series with Nightcrawler in it.

This was a really religious episode.

I know that Nightcrawler is v. religious, but like the episode ended with Wolverine praying in a church and like deep praying to God, and Rogue watched this and was crying.  Heavy shit.

Growing up watching the X-Men Animated series when it was first out I have to admit I spent most of my time watching the series thinking the orange/tan of Jean Grey’s suit was her skin. Of course it’s fairly obvious it’s her suit now but man was I confused as a kid.
