“An artist - painter, writer, jewelry maker, etc. - cannot lie by saying "I never loved you" if they ever made you something. If the painter spent 8 hours working on a piece just for you... that painter loved you If the writer wrote a book that starred a fantasy of the two of you that only you and them would ever see... the writer loved you If the jewelry maker made you something based on a picture of a necklace/bracelet/ring that you showed them one time saying "I'd love to have something like this... the jewelry maker loved you If the actor dedicated their entire performance to you, if they based the feelings that their character feels on feelings that you've given them... the actor loved you If the musician was inspired to make a song for you... the musician loved you If the weaver, the toy maker, made you a quilt, a hat, a teddy bear, or even a t-shirt... they loved you Its common at the end of relationship for at least one person to say "I never loved you" and the artist may even try, but know the artist's lie for what it is... they loved you, because they created for you. They can't ever take that part of their love back. They gave you their time, and made you things with the pieces of their souls. They loved you. There's no denying that they loved you. So they may lie and say "I never loved you", but know that they're only lashing out from hurt. Don't listen to the artist's lies. They created something for you, put their soul into it. For you. Out of love. Keep what they made for you, even if it stays locked away in a box for years. Treasure it, for it holds a piece of their soul, given to you for safekeeping for all time. Because the artist loved you. And an artist's love will forever exist in what they created. ”

—I thought this would look better in a quote format… this is an entry from my journal. (endlessly-drowning, Autumn Skye Wade)

“The life of a writer is absolute hell compared to the life of a businessman. The writer has to force himself to work He has to make his own hours and if he doesn't go to his desk at all there is nobody to scold him...A person is a fool to become a writer. His only compensation is absolute freedom. He has no master except his own soul, and that, I am sure, is why he does it.”
