Red, fresh blood was quite the contrast to the fox’s all white attire and silver tresses as he dragged the final living Spirit World employee that had accompanied him on this mission. The purple being’s pleas and cries were like that of a favorite tune to Kurama’s furry ears- how long had it been since he’d heard such beautiful melodies such as this? It was weird- the last thing he remembered was being shot by the hunter. Hadn’t he almost died? No matter- the great Youko Kurama was alive and well and would let it be known soon.

He’d finally reached the main room of the mansion they had cleared out, where there dismembered bodies strewn around the room, evident claw marks on the larger chunks of flesh that could be found on the floor. The walls were now painted a nice shade of deep red- like that of roses. Kurama smirked at the thought, but another cry from his prey dragged him from his thoughts. 

A rather crossed expression swept over the demon’s face as he lifted the ogre from the floor. “Hm, I think a messenger to return to Spirit World would make things easier for me…” he smiled, closing his eyes when he noticed relief spreading across the purple-skinned man Kurama held in the air. “Then again, with this number of ogres sent to accomplish one job- surely Koenma will send someone to investigate when they have not returned. This is goodbye, friend.”

With that being said, a quick blur of a hand shot through the ogre’s chest and ripped out his heart before discarding the being on the floor. “Che, what a nuisance…” the fox demon walked out into the moonlight and looked up to the dark night sky,” I wonder who I can play with next…”
