i think a lot of people get into relationships because they’re lonely, not because they are actually ready to be with someone. the people in these relationships usually become dependent on one another, and call it being “in love”. they stay with each other not because they care about each other, but because they are afraid to be alone and have become used to being in a relationship. when the breakup comes around they get scared and run back to each other as soon as possible, hurting only themselves in the process. i think a lot of times people need to stop and think whether or not they’re ready for a relationship and realise its okay to be on your own.
