we went around class today introducing ourselves and we had to say:
- our names
- our major/year
- and our favorite movie quote
- then everyone guessed what movie it was from
i said - “Sorry!!! my prada’s at the cleaners along with my hoodie and my fuck-you flip flops, you pretentious douche bag.”
no one even BLINKED. i expected someone to say something like, oh yeah social network! or hell yeah, david fincher. when i revealed what the movie was NO ONE SAID ANYTHING. i have never felt so uncomfortable in a class in my life.
(but not as awkward as a kid who said his favorite movie was Avatar…. i thought he was going to be ripped to shreds…)
