How come you don’t teach? Did I know this?
I’ve had a hard time getting my certification recognized here in the states. I live 2 miles down the road from Kripalu, so around here that’s what people reach for in terms of credibility. and the competition? I spoke with someone I knew who works for Kripalu, and according to her I could qualify for a shorter course training - but I would still need to invest 250 hours and 3 grand. My experience with eastern and western yoga are incredibly contradictory. For a 6 month course in India, which included the physical practice, philosophy, anatomy, and physiology, it cost me the equivalent to 3 dollars. I haven’t been able to justify that difference when I know the yoga is more about the experience. the personal reflection. and I’ve done the work already, ya know? That, and well, I have a mountain of education debt, and I can’t justify spending MORE money on an additional degree …
