Spice Jars

Since we’re in the midst of a construction zone, we’re taking solace in our recently organized spices.

The containers are amber glass jars. We chose them because they come in various sizes and have a brown tint, which should provide a little protection from the sun. We used window crayons to create the labels. But instead of writing on the glass, we’ve labeled the plastic tops, so the letters don’t rub off during repeated use. (They can be easily removed with soap and water.)

After we finished all the labeling, my husband and I stood back and admired our work. Very satisfied with our new system. 

And then we both agreed that it is very good we married each other. Our organizational tendencies could have made two other people very miserable.
